Blogging To The Bank 3.0 Review
Yeah, Rob Benwell is at it again, and apparently so am I.
I’ve been away for a bit, duh, but now when Rob is launching Blogging To The Bank 3.0… he kind of inspired me to get back in the game for a bit.
This time, I even have a bonus for you. Check it out here:
Blogging To The Bank 3.0 Review
Why this product, why this launch?
You see… this product, Blogging To The Bank (3.0) is a bit special to me, since back when I got started, Rob’s product Blogging To The Bank 2.0 was a foundational part of… everything basically. That course helped me a lot when I got started myself.
So, well, I’m living proof that his strategies work, and so is this blog.
If you were planning to buy Blogging To The Bank 3.0 anyway (I sure hope you were…), then you might as well buy it through my link and get an amazing bonus. No catch here…

Magic Words…
Just came to think of this…
Two words… that make people buy…?
Think about it, what are pretty much everyone that’s looking to buy for, looking for?
I learned from Stephen Pierce, that poor people, or people in a poor mindset rather, think about things and evauluate things with two questions: “Is it easy enough?” and “Is it cheap enough?“.
These people are looking to save as much as they can of their 3 sources of power. The 3 sources of power are Money, Time and Energy.
Makes sense, right?
Now the rich person thinks about it in a different way, answering one question:
“Is it worth it?”
The rich person doesn’t care of how much of their 3 sources of power they spend, if they get a very positive ROI (return on investment).
ROI doesn’t only apply to money… it includes everything you spend, in this case your 3 sources of power.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it… most people are in the poor mindset. This means that most of your customers and prospects are as well.
So what are the magic words?
Instant
and
Effortless
Think about it. If you want to do something, have a problem you want to solve, or whatever… if someone presents a solution to that which is INSTANT and EFFORTLESS… would you buy it?
Think about it…
I’m *not* back
If you’ve been reading my blog, you’d know by now that I haven’t updated for a few weeks…
Why?
First of all I switched computers and got locked out of this place (lol).
Second of all I have better things to do with my time. No offense, but I do value the $$$ more than some practically non-existent reader. Comparatively, I make peanuts from this blog compared to my other internet venues… and who am I kidding, I’m in this to make money.
So well, I’ll be back if something major comes up, keep me on your RSS readers and you’ll be the first to know ![]()
The Crucial Flaw in Bum Marketing
Bum Marketing… insanely popular… yet there is one thing… a flaw in the system that pretty much makes it all worthless.
Bum Marketing - the name derives from the idea that you could take a complete bum off the streets, put him in a public library, and have him make money. Right?
Right. And therein lies the problem.
The freaking companies wouldn’t have any place to send the checks to! He’s a bum! He doesn’t have a home!!
OK, fine, it would work if he has a bank account and does the direct deposit thing, or he’s in a paypal affiliate program/network such as myHelpHub - but still.
Just thought that was kind of funny, lol sorry.
The ACTUAL flaw in standard bum marketing is that you don’t have much control.
Unless you have your landing page on your own domain you don’t have any control over it and you can’t make the layout look EXACTLY like you want it on something like blogger or squidoo.
Eventually you want to get more serious with your own domains and stuff like that anyway, so why not start immediately and make more money in the long run.
I’m pretty much leaving traditional bum marketing as it is now, and moving on to something else that is a lot more powerful and completely hands off once it’s done. It’s a niche domination type of thing…
See ya,
Linus
Stepping up from Bum hood…
Yes, that’s right. I’m no longer a Bum Marketer.
Yes, I still do Bum MarketING, but I just did something, which is like the opposite of Bum Marketing.
It’s paid.
It’s Pay Per Click.
Yas. That’s right.
My first ever PPC campaign is now live.
It’s basically just a simple test campaign, and it’s direct linking to somewhere.
If this is a success, I’ll post some step by step guide on here or make a free downloadable report.
Karma baby! … as Norb likes to say.
Landing Pages part 2
This is a follow up post to the last one about Landing Pages. Read that first pl0x.
Anyway, I’m guessing you want to know about the second type of landing pages now…
It’s for people searching for product names and all things related to it. BOOM NEWSFLASH! Right?
Probably not, but it’s often overlooked, and that is VERY stupid if I say so myself.
Why? Because people searching for product names are already considering a purchase!
Therefore it’s some of the most targeted traffic you can recieve. Okay it’s not as MUCH traffic as you get by targeting common keywords, but they’re generally a lot more targeted and ready to buy.
Keywords you’d target would be things like:
- “Product Name”
- “Product Name Review”
- “Product Name Scam”
- “ProductName”
- “ProductName Review”
- “www.productnamewebsite.com” (that’s a good one
…and so on.
The type of landing page you would use for these people - requires practically no thinking!
You just write a brief UNBIASED OVERVIEW of what the product is about, and include the product box or whatever is available. Just a paragraph or two of what the product is about, as an OVERVIEW, and not a “review”. You can’t have an opinion at all. You’re gonna have to sound like a boring dude working for the government - like a “professional”.
Get it?
Then under that you have something like “actual consumer feedback”, which is a fancy phrase for testimonials.
And then have your links on the top and bottom and after the descriptive paragraph stuff.
And that’s it.
Enjoy…
Different Traffic - Different Landing Pages
This is something I’ve talked about several times on the Digital Point forums, but I think it’s VERY important for the bum affiliate to know.
The idea is that you should have different kinds of landing pages for different kinds of traffic.
For example, someone searches “How to get rid of smelly feet” in Google, and let’s pray they’re not looking for an axe…
That’s a specific kind of traffic, and it is to be treated in a specific way. How? …read on.
The way your landing page could be structured in this scenario, well two different formats would work and it’s up to you which you choose.
The first one is the “Product review” landing page. This works VERY WELL (think 5% conversion rate) with people looking to SOLVE A PROBLEM, hopefully a painful one, lol.
The best way to do this is to relate to them and bind an emotional connection with them. Tell them how you were in their situation once, you know what they feel like… you didn’t want to buy it either at first because you’re sick of all the scams… and then gradually lead them into happy emotions, and tell them how you finally got too desperate and bought it, and to your surprise it actually worked… and blah, blah and blah.
You might think this is unethical if it’s not true, but if the product does work (and you’d rather want this confirmed…) you’re not doing anyone any harm. In fact you’re ACTUALLY HELPING them! Even if what you say isn’t true.
It’s up to you and your ethics, but the next type won’t be so hard on those
To find out how you can make high converting landing pages to the most targeted traffic - the best traffic - stick around for tomorrow!
… yeah I’m sneaky like that. Feel free to subscribe to the RSS feed on the top right, and leave a comment, of course… I like those
Check back here, or in your feed reader, tomorrow to find out what the best traffic is and how to monetize them!
Facelift!
Yep, just switched themes for this blog… if you’re new here you probably didn’t notice, lol.
But if you’ve been here before you should notice the change… it’s narrower now, and it feels more like the “underground” type blog. Less commercial… no banners or adsense… I don’t know if they belong here.
I like it better anyway, and if you don’t… well, screw you then, hah.
Also spent some time in photoshop making the header, as you might have figured out…
Eh, just a random update today. Figured I had to say SOMETHING about the theme…
Thank You Google!
It’s about time, isn’t it?
The one thing missing from the Google Keyword Tool has finally arrived. And this makes the Big G Keyword tool beat out Wordtracker by faaaaaar.
Actual search count.
Yep, that’s right. The confusing green bars are gone. Now it’s got an approximate monthly search count.
Like, how much is “average” search volume anyway?
Well, now we now!
So yeah, thanks Google
The Double Paragraph Resource Box
You got it…
This has been one of my “secrets” for a long time…it’ll literally double your CTR. I promise.
The secret is, as cleverly implied by the title of this article, making your resource boxes in two paragraphs. OK, maybe not full blown paragraphs but a sentence or three in each.
Basically, the idea is that if your reader doesn’t want to click through on your “first” resource box, you throw in a second one. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
So here’s an example:
Find out exactly how I XYZ and read my complete review of Product Name here:
Actually, in product name they teach you step by step how to do exactly what I told you about in this article, so it’s really cool. Again, here’s my review of the product:
–> Product Name Review <–
Not word for word of course, the idea is that you have a “double” resource box, and to further increase CTR make it weave in with the article itself, so it actually appears to be a part of the article.
End your actual article abruptly, and don’t use a conclusion, so instead of:
“Introduction
Article Body
Conclusion
Resource Box”
You have
“Introduction
Article Body
Resource Box”
Get it?
In a way, you could say that your resource box is your conclusion, but your reader should feel like something is missing, and they want to read more, and that’s the actual reason they would actually click any link in the first place.
There’s a rule on Ezine Articles that prevents you from doing this too aggressively, and I’ve gotten quite a few articles rejected because of this. They tell you:
“We do not accept teaser links or phrases that require a reader to click away or reference another source in order to receive the full benefit of the article.”
So keep that in mind.
I hope this further improved you CTR, I haven’t told anyone about this before, but after further “investigation” I found that it was one of the reasons I can get my 50% CTRs. You should be able to find my other article on how to further increase your CTR as a related post below.
See ya,
Linus
