I want to apologize for not keep this blog updated. I got super busy with my family and my business and ended up getting 7 episodes behind. Not anymore! I got caught up over the weekend and I should be updating the site on a more regular basis.

Mickey: His name is Matt Doyle, and he was plucked from the cast of Broadway’s Spring Awakening to appear on Gossip Girl, his first TV credit. He also has a small part in Once More with Feeling, an upcoming, karaoke-themed indie starring Drea de Matteo. Like many gay relationships on TV, Eric and Jonathan’s will be short-lived. Until Eric finds favor with Cupid again, he has bigger fish to fry, like helping new BFF Jenny start an underground fashion line while simultaneously applying all that eye makeup every morning.
Rebecca: I might be reading into this a little bit, but is there anything at all going on between Blair and Serena on Gossip Girl, chemistry-wise? They seem much too touchy and flirty than best friends normally are.
You aren’t the only one! We’ve received many emails regarding this rumor/theory, and a reliable source who works on the show says, “That’s insane. No, we’re not planning anything like that.” Is it really so insane, though? I’m pretty sure the Gossip Girl book series ended with Serena and Blair kissing each other on the lips and murmuring, “You know you love me.” (Saucy!) Regardless, I’m told Serena’s brother Eric is the only one with any same-sex happenings in the works for a good long while. Disappointed? Relieved? Comment below. In the meantime, Blair and Serena will be getting some hot male action on the show in future episodes, courtesy of the Basshole (yee!) and Serena’s new love interest, Aaron Rose.

I hear Lily has a deep, dark secret that is already in the works for next year, and it is going to have major repercussions. Guesses?
They are finally introducing Cyrus Rose into the series. I wonder if they’ll write a baby into the storyline as well? (if you’ve read the books you’ll know what I mean by that…)
WALLACE SHAWN (“THE PRINCESS BRIDE”) GUEST STARS AND CYNDI LAUPER MAKES A CAMEO — Blair (Leighton Meester) does not approve of the new man, Cyrus Rose (guest star Wallace Shawn), in her mother’s (guest star Margaret Colin) life, so she makes it her mission to break up the lovebirds by any means necessary. Jenny (Taylor Momsen) moves in with Agnes (guest star Willa Holland) as the friends move forward with their plans for a fashion line. Serena (Blake Lively) continues to fall for the new guy in her life, Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori), but she learns something about him that threatens to end things just as they are getting really good. Dan (Penn Badgley) decides to win the trust of Bart Bass (guest star Robert John Burke) in order to learn more about the man and possibly write an expose on him for Vanity Fair, but things get heated after Chuck (Ed Westwick) finds out the real reason Dan is spending so much time around his family. Matthew Settle also stars. David Von Ancken directed the episode written by Jessica Queller
Poor Taylor! According to People.com she’s in the hospital with a potentially life threatening throat infection. I’m guessing strep? You can let that go. You have to take antibiotics! Get well, Taylor!
Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen has been hospitalized with a serious throat infection, according to her doctor Shawn Nasseri.
“She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday,” Nasseri said in a letter provided by Momsen’s manager.
Fortunately, the doctor predicts that Momsen, 15, will be fine. “After aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days.”
No word yet on when Momsen will be returning to Gossip Girl’s New York City set.
A surprised Serena learns that Aaron has been keeping a huge secret from her. Meanwhile, Blair tries to improve her standing with Yale by babysitting the teenage daughter of a prominent Yale donor, and Jenny and Agnes plan an unconventional fashion show that could make or break Jenny’s career.

Ausiello: What do Nate and Jenny have in common with Michael Cera and Ellen Page’s Juno characters? Nothing right now, but my Gossip snitch says that’s about to change. In other words, either Jenny is getting knocked up, or the two of them are going to perform a cover of the Moldy Peaches’ “Anyone Else But You” over the end credits.
