Get More Traffic From Your Tutorials
by admin
Like any other blogger, I am always on the lookout for alternate sources of traffic. About a month ago I found Tutorialized.com. The site is fairly well laid out with a clean design.
You can find tutorials on wide array of subjects such as Flash, PhotoShop, Cinema 4D, Bryce, CSS, Dreamweaver, Javascript. PHP, Word, Excel, Business Development, Databases, Programming, Video Editing and more. Most that I looked at were of a decent quality. You can also vote for the tutorial and leave comments for the author.
So, I thought what the heck and signed up. As a test I submitted part 1 of How To Create A WordPress Theme. Well, like I said that was about a month ago, with everything else going on I forgot all about it, that is until about 4 days ago.
During the day I check my traffic at Hit Tail and I noticed a sudden influx of traffic from tutorialized.com. By the end of the day I had over 300 hits and to date I have had just over 500 hits.
Despite the delay of 2-3 weeks, Which may be down to this being my first submission, I am more than happy with the results and will submit more tutorials to them. If you write any kind of computer related tutorials I can heartily recommend that you get on on over to tutorialized.com and submit them.

Great resource! I’ve been looking for Paint Shop Pro tutorials and there’s lots here.
I’m glad to hear that you’re getting lots of traffic from them!
Great resource indeed, thanks! i’;d like to suggest that you add your “comment styling” posts as a tutorial also
Great find Colin! Congrats on the boost in traffic. Sometimes you never know what’s going to happen when you submit to a site like that. Glad it worked out for you.
500 hits in two three weeks - Not bad at all - I am siging it up right now -Thanks for the Info
How targeted is the traffic? Do they convert or at least stay around for awhile?
@Shankar: The result was actually better than that, despite submitting the post so long ago, it did not get approved until the beginning of May so the 500 or so visitors were over a period of 7-8 days.
@Bryan Reed: As it is a tutorial site, I would think that the people that click thru to any particular tutorial are qualified visitors. The bounce rate is the lowest of all my traffic sources and they hung around longer and looked at more pages.
So glad to see you back. Hope the new puter is good. Great info here. Thanks for this one!
This is indeed a fantastic alternative of driving traffic to your blog. They link the tutorial from your site. Any tutorials is accepted in this site as long as your submitted tutorial gets approved by them and even create a category for you if your tutorial doesn’t fit in their list.
I think this is a great site where you can get to learn everything you need to know online and blogging. A great resource of both knowledge and traffic to our site. Will definitely sign-up.

Thanks for the idea of using a strong tutorial as ‘linkbait’. People would definitely link to a tutorial. I also think that high quality tag pages on large social media sites are the go. A good place to have your site listed. GD.
