A puddle of mushiness about Matters of the Heart

I just gotta let you know - What it is that won't let me go - It's your love

It just does somethin' to me -It sends a shock right through me
I can't get enough
- So if you wonder - About the spell I'm under - oh It's your love

TWO HEARTS as ONE

I attended Sunday Mass yesterday and got inspired by our Pastor's Homily sermon about Commitment, Marriage, Love and the work it truly entails.

On this note, I would like to share a related image, a beautiful poem by an unknown author, and a featured song You and I by Michael Buble, especially dedicated to y'all married folks out there. *CHEERS*

Here we are-On earth together-It's you and I-God has made us fall in love
It's true-I've really found-Someone like you ~
Grow old with me My Love!
- sh

I love the way you love me
Regardless of what I do
I know you'll never leave me
Your love will always be true, I love the way you hold me
So tight in your arms
You give me all I ever wanted
Make me feel safe from any harm, I love the way you kiss me
Within I'm set afire
You make me weak in the knees
Melt my heart with desire, I love your beautiful eyes
And your cute little nose
Your sexy legs turn me on
Love your body from head to toe, I love the way I need you
To be part of my everyday life

I love that I can call you my husband
And call myself your wife, I love the way you make me smile
Even when you aren't around
And the way you make me laugh
You always turn my frown, I love the way you take my breath away
Every time I look at you
You make me feel so complete
In everything I do, I love to watch you sleeping
To listen to the beating of your heart

I love to wake up next to you
To my day, a perfect start, I love the special memories
We have created together
The future holds so many more
That will be cherished forever, I love to make you happy
Strive so hard to make you feel
All the love I have for you
Reassure you it is real, I love your passion for your interest
Your intelligence in all you do

But most of all
I just love you for you . . .

Loving You is what I WANT and NEED

Thank you God for your graciousness in providing me with what I WANT and NEED--and most importantly with more than enough Love and Patience. I look forward to many more years with you My Dear Heart of Mine, and I still stand truly to my promise to love you 'til my last heartbeat.

Loving you and knowing that you are here with me helps bring meaning to life!

Ikaw lamang ~
Loving you is what I WANT and NEED! - sh

GOD is the ANSWER

A very profound and noteworthy e-mail forwards that I am so glad to share as a New Year's post. May we all take comfort, refuge and assurance that whatever 2009 may bring--good or bad, that everything will still turn out for the best--for God for sure will be with us and guide us all along the way. GOD = POSITIVE!

AMEN to a New Year FULL OF GOD'S LOVE and GUIDANCE - sh

----Original message below---

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions.

But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened -- everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger."God, how could you do this to me?" he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him.

"How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man.
"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering. Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground, it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.

For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a positive answer for it.

You say, "It's impossible."
God says: "All thing are possible" (Luke 18:27).

You say, "I'm too tired."
God says: "I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 to 30).

You say, "Nobody really loves me."
God says: "I love you" (John 3:16).

You say, "I can't go on."
God says: "My grace is sufficient." (2 Corinthians 12:9; Psalm 91:15)

You say, "I can't figure things out."
God says: "I will direct your steps." (Proverbs 3:5 and 6)

You say, "I can't do it."
God says: "You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you." (Philippians 4:13)

You say, "It's not worth it."
God says: "It will be worth it." (Romans 8:28)

You say, "I can't forgive myself."
God says: "I forgive you." (1 John 1:9 - Romans 8:1)

You say, "I can't manage."
God says: "I will supply all your needs." (Philippians 4:19)

You say, "I'm afraid."
God says: "I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)

You say, "I'm always worried and frustrated."
God says: "Cast all your cares on ME (1 Peter 5:7)

You say, "I don't have enough faith."
God says: "I've given everyone a measure of faith." (Romans 12:3)

You say, "I'm not smart enough."
God says: "I give you wisdom." (1 Corinthians 1:30)

You say, "I feel all alone."
God says: "I will never leave you or forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)
