Compare Credit Cards online

With the way the economy is going, now is the best time to shop around for the best credit card deals. People are spending less, credit card companies are making less, and that means they are desperate for your business. Now is a great time to get the best deals from your credit card.

Whether you're looking for the best rate or most rewards, you can compare credit cards online at CreditCardFlyers.com. The site has a lot of information and is neatly organized into categories like Student, Business, Rewards, or Low Interest Credit Cards. And if your credit is not so good, you can even search by credit level, from excellent to limited credit.

I love credit cards with rewards, so I found the "Estimate Rewards Earnings" link an especially useful tool. It allows you to see about how much you could earn from using each card. The link brings you to a new page where you can enter how much you spend on every day expenses like gas, restaurant, and supermarket bills. Then they will calculate how much you could earn if you had that particular card. I think this is a great tool to help you compare cards and make sure you get the most rewards for your dollars spent.

All in all, this is site was very helpful in my search for the best credit card. The site is very easy to navigate and has a lot of useful information. It is definitely worth checking out when shopping for your next credit card.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you all had a great time last night, I know I did.

I had a nice dinner with my parents, since it was their Wedding Anniversary, then I went over to my friend's house. We had a great time. We hung out, played some games on the Nintendo Wii, and had a few drinks. My friend lives in the same Condo complex as me, so I didn't have to go far. That also meant that I could drink with out having to worry about driving home.

I'm looking forward to the new year, and all my business plans, and personal plans for the year to come.

Happy 2009 everyone!

Recycling Update - $10.85 for my Wii fund

So I made $10.85 with my latest recycling efforts, and I've decided to start saving that money into a Christmas fund for next year.

I want to buy myself a Wii game console, but I'm too cheap to buy one now. I'm waiting until the price goes down a little, so I figure by next Christmas they should cost less than this Christmas.

This will be like my own little layaway program. I have to save up enough to buy it, but I will only be using my recycling money, so we'll see how long that will take. My goal is next Christmas, but who knows, maybe I'll make it sooner.

It's Official, We're in a Recession

Well it's official, we're in a recession.

For anyone out there who would like to know exactly what this means, a recession is when a country's Gross Domestic Product decreases for at least 2 consecutive quarters.

And if you don't know what Gross Domestic Product (or GDP) means, it is the total market value of all goods and services created within a period of time.

So basically this recession means that the total market value of all the goods and services we are producing has been decreasing for the last 2 quarters.

Recycling Update - $11.05

I haven't really written any updates on my recycling efforts, but that's not because I haven't been recycling.

Recently I've been collecting bags of recycling from friends and family who are too busy to recycle on their own. I am more that happy to do it for them, since I get to keep the money I make.

The last batch I brought earned me $11.05. At the rate the price of gas has been dropping (here in So. California), that's almost enough to fill half my gas tank. Yippee!
