Today marks Day 1 of the We Are Slimming "I’m ready to shine in 2009" 12 week challenge. Part of the challenge is to post our overall goals that we want to achieve during the challenge and each week, we need to post our weekly goals.
I thought I’d share my goals here as well, seeing as one of my overall goals is to blog here every day throughout the challenge to help me keep accountable.
How about starting with numbers?
SW: 116.5kg
CW: 116.5kg
Waist measurement: 132cm
When we started this blog, I weighed 121.3kg so if we want to be technical, it seems that I have managed to dump 4.8kg. It’s taken me a while but I haven’t exactly been working hard at it so I can’t complain.
What about some pics?
We had to send in 2 "before" shots" and these are the ones I sent in:
William walked in as Bill was taking my side shot…that’s why I have that stupid grin on my face LOL Oh, and we had to hold a vegetable. That’s why there’s a cucumber in my hand! LOL
Back to the challenge though….
My overall goals for the challenge are:
* to lose at least 6kg
* make drinking 1.5L water daily a habit
* make "wii fitting" 30min daily a habit
* complete the whole 12 weeks of the challenge
And my Week 1 goals are:
Food
* no soft drink
* at least 1 serving of fruit each day
* watch portions
* drink 1.5L water
Exercise
* 30mins on wii fit every day
* 1 hour walk x 3
* 50 sit ups x 7
Other
* do a quick tidy up before going to bed each night
* blog every day on weight loss blog to help stay on track
