A couple of days ago Feudal Nippon held their first ever Group Archery Tournament. This was not a target shooting contest but a battle between two groups of warriors using only their bows and arrows. Curious to how it will play out, I went to Feudal Nippon. The tournament was held at their sky arena and the only way to get there was to use the teleporter located in their armory. When I got to the sky arena, I immediately changed my outfit to something more Japanese before coming out of the landing area.

Feudal Nippon
I just love visiting Feudal Nippon. The people are very warm, friendly and accomodating. Just a few seconds of my arrival at the sky arena, 10 or more people immediately greeted and welcomed me. I don’t know many of them but that didn’t stop them from being nice and friendly. LOL! [...continue reading Group Archery Tournament]
A few days ago, I went to Feudal Nippon to check out their Combat Quest. I remember getting group notices about it but I was busy with other things so I was not able to check it out earlier. If I’m not mistaken, the story is that Feudal Nippon’s Emperor, Ronin McGinnis, is ill and his loyal followers are in a quest to recover things that will eventually lead to a cure.
I went to Feudal Nippon wearing a Gladiator outfit which I bought from JTL designs for only 200L$. I do have a Japanese outfit but since I was not going to RP with them I decided to keep my Gladiator outfit on and stayed far away from them. I just used my viewer’s camera controls to pan and zoom to where the action is. [...continue reading Dragon Slain at Feudal Nippon]
Today I visited Egypt Valley of the Gods. A roleplay and combat sim inspired by ancient Egypt and owned by Skyyy McCallen and Lurgan Ling. They were once the rulers of RPG Empire’s Egyptian Empire but unfortunately it was closed but, now, they have their own Egyptian sim to rule. I only found out about it while I was at Medieval England. It seems that they have some roleplay going on between each other. The Pharaoh gave me a landmark and I also requested to be added to the group so that I could get notices of events and other updates.

As always, my visit starts at the landing area where you will find a teleporter that will take to, what it seems to be, four major locations on the sim. These locations are; 1. Arena of the Gods, 2. Harem, 3. Bast Temple and 4. The Pyramid. Of course there are other locations that were not listed like the Market, the Bathhouse and others. Oh, I almost forgot the mighty Nile River. [...continue reading A Look at Egypt Valley of the Gods]
A few days ago I went and visit Renaissance Island, an RP and Combat sim set in medieval times. I got the landmark to Renaissance Island from Dale Harmison’s jousting group in Second Life. The landmark dropped me right beside the Jousting Arena but I didn’t want to start there. Now, when I landed near the jousting arena I received a welcome message and a notecard with information about the sim. In that notecard are landmarksto various key locations in the sim and since I wanted to start my personal tour from the beginning I choose and opened the most obvious starting location which is the Common Area.

At the common area, you will find a calendar of the sim’s upcoming events, a sign that gives out information about the sim in a notecard, a dummy named Goody Throckmorton and a carriage stop. The carriage stop works like this, you touch it and then a ridable horse drawn carriage appears in-front of you. You can then ride the carriage and it will take you to various locations around the sim. I only rode it to take a quick snapshot but did the exploring on foot. [...continue reading A Look at Renaissance Island]
I wrote about my visit to Sydney Harbour 1808 just a few minutes ago but it seems that it took me too long that my session time expired before I could finish writing it and because of that the editor didn’t save what I wrote when I clicked on the save button. Instead, it asked me to login again. Arrgh! This made me remember why I like Wordpress better than Joomla when it comes to writing and editing text. Anyway, I’ll try to re-write a brief one this time.
In my initial visit to Sydney Harbour 1808 I landed underwater. I tried to get out of the water by sitting but unfortunately I haven’t rezzed enough yet to see any chairs to sit on. I teleported back home and tried again at a later time. After a while I received a message from the owner of Sydney Harbour, GaiaGirl Gigamon, informing me that she has fixed the landing area. I went back after a few hours and this time I landed on the pier infront of the Rum Rebel Inn. [...continue reading A Look at Sydney Harbour 1808]
Today, I had the time to check out Jabberwock. Jabberwock is a pirate themed sim and it’s not just one sim, it is made of 5 interconnected sims. That means, if you are a sea lover, you’ll get to enjoy more ocean space for sailing and sea battles. Jabberwock or Pirates of Jabberwock is owned by Antigua Jewell.
I landed at the docks near a tavern named Calico Jack’s. I’m not a pirate expert but according to Wikipedia Calico Jack “was an English pirate captain during the early 18th century. His nickname was derived from the calico clothing he wore.” I guess it’s a fitting name for a tavern. In the tavern were three people but I can only remember the names of Kurt Jiagu and Antigua Jewell. Kurt Jiagu was busy talking to another visitor of the sim. All three of them left afterwards but I was able to ask permission to look around the sim. [...continue reading A Look at Jabberwock]
So, I (which means my avatar) was wandering around Second Life when suddenly I found myself at a sim where the *Lords of the Rings* **H LiaZ** is located. Honestly, I know nothing about the Lord of the Rings except from the movies but will that stop me from looking around? Of course not! He he he!
When I landed, I found myself inside a very big Ring with elven writing on it. I think it was a much bigger replica of the Ring itself but what do I know I’m just an observer. LOL! I also found myself inside a small town. It was a nice and quiet little town. In fact, it was too quiet because there wasn’t a soul in sight

As always, the first thing I did is to read the Rules of the place. Afterwards, I slapped on my OBSERVER tag and started looking around. By the way, the sim is based on JRR Tolkien’s Middle Earth but the notecard said that they’ll allow for a more flexible RP. The history of Middle Earth will be adapted into the system but will not be taken entirely. [...continue reading A Look at an LOTR Sim]
The emperor of Feudal Nippon, Ronin, McGinnis, invited me to watch a Geisha show which happened today, 6PM SLT (Second Life Time) at the Nippon Geisha Tea House. I said I would try to come which I eventually did but I just stayed at the dock and just used my camera to pan and zoom to the venue. He invited me so that I would have a better understanding of what their Geishas are and what they actually do in Feudal Nippon.

From what he told me, the Geishas at Feudal Nippon are artist who performs dances, plays music and tells stories of old. They also serve tea to their guests and entertains them by conversing with them after their show. [...continue reading The Geisha Show at Feudal Nippon]
Feudal Nippon is a new RP/Combat sim owned by Ronin McGinnis. As the name implies, Feudal Nippon is a Japanese themed sim and, since it’s Japanese themed, it is expected that those who wish to RP in Feudal Nippon to also be in Japanese costumes.
My landing to Feudal Nippon wasn’t very pleasant because I kinda landed on a property which is protected by a Land Protection gadget. 10 seconds later I was ejected off the land. Ouch!

I don’t really have a landmark to Feudal Nippon. What I did to find it was, I searched for Temporal Rifts Empire which is another sim owned by Ronin McGinnis and to my luck, Feudal Nippon is connected to Temporal Rifts Empire. So, I just like clicked somewhere on it, hit the teleport button and I was there. [...continue reading A Look at Feudal Nippon]
