On Court: Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) “Superman”

Lebron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers debuted the Zoom Lebron VI (6) in a blue/yellow/red colorway last night against the Charlotte Bobcats. Nicknamed “The Superman“, this colorway features a blue nubuck upper, a white toebox, and a yellow Nike swoosh. There’s also red/yellow/blue threading that wraps around the entire midsole and red accents on the bottom sole & inner lining.
As for the game, the Cavaliers crushed the Bobcats in an effortless victory by out scoring them 111-81.

Vans Forty-Four High Pack | West Coast vs. East Coast

In the Summer of 2008, samples for two Crooks & Castles x Vans Sneakers were spotting at the Magic Show that featured a Gucci inspired color scheme as well as an ankle strap, and just a few weeks ago Crooks & Castles confirmed that both colorways would drop in Spring 2009.
Now we’re hearing that the two sneakers will release in the Vans Forty-Four High Pack “West Coast vs. East Coast”. The pack will contain a Crooks & Castles West Coast Edition, 5BoroNYC East Coast Edition, Wainwright Edition, and two unknown store editions. Each pack includes two pairs of sneakers and a t-shirt. The Nike SB x Flystreetwear x Triumvir: Dunk Mid created a lot of chatter in the sneaker community when their pictures first leaked online. It’s one of the most detailed SB Dunk Mid to release in sometime now and carries a story behind it’s design.
The sneaker features a black/grey/white leather upper inspired by Beijing’s Tienanmen Square. The details on the back heel & side panels represents Beijing’s highway system/Chinese noodles, the white toecap & laces represents China’s bad air quality (flu mask), and the insoles showcases a combination of Flystreetwear and Triumvir’s logos.
The Flystreetwear x Triumvir x Nike SB Beijing Dunk Mid is now available at select Nike SB retailers like Brooklyn Projects and of course eBay.

The Nike SB January 2009 Preview that we posted a couple days ago was suppose to be just a teaser, but now it seems that no additional releases will drop this month….well expect for the Nike SB x Flystreetwear x Triumvir: Dunk Mid Quickstrike Release.
The official collection for this month includes two colorways under the new Velcore model, a “Lemon Drop” P-Rod 2, a “Purple/Black” Blazer High, and the “Twin Peaks” Dunk High. All five Nike SB releases should be available at most Nike SB retailers already, but some are still awaiting their shipments.
Supra NS Skytop 2009 Releases

In August 2008, we posted our Supra NS Spring 2009 “Preview” that consisted of 3 future Supra models in 3 different color schemes; Supra NS Skytop, Supra NS Trinity, and Supra NS Strapped.
We’re now been informed that all three versions of the Supra NS Skytop are set to release in the coming weeks/days. It’s still not clear which colorway will drop first but it’ll be either the burgundy patent leather, bronze patent leather, or grey suede model. Stay tuned for the official release. Nike just loves combining their old models and making new hybrid sneakers, like this upcoming Nike Air Penny 1/2 (Half) Cent. The sneaker is comprised of all five of Penny Hardaway’s signature shoes released under Nike, which includes the Air Penny, Air Penny II (2), Air Penny III (3), Air Penny IV (4), and the beloved Air Foamposite.
The colors royal blue, black, and metallic silver will decorate the upper while the sole features translucent materials, zig-zagged blue designs, and a cartoon-like image of Hardaway. The Nike Air Penny 1/2 (Half) Cent is scheduled drop in stores Summer 2009 (March) in a solid Black colorway as well as a Blue/Black colorway. Retail $190.

Releasing along side the Reebok EX-O-FIT High J Straps will be another set of sneakers under the EX-O-FIT line, the Reebok EX -O-FIT Highs. This new set consists of perforated leather and patent leather accents, plus an ankle strap. The sneakers will drop in five different color schemes beginning in February 2009; metallic silver & gold, purple, yellow, and green. Now available at Mita.
