This Blog of Mine
It’s been awhile since I have posted my inner thoughts here. It seems that I really have forgotten the reason why this blog was put-up. This blog was supposed to be the haven where I journey my spiritual life, my thankfulness to God and other things. As months passed by instead of focusing on “….faith, life and more,” I have been posting about “more” than “faith and life.” And to be honest, this is making me guilty. I have been focused on monetizing my blog(s) rather than prioritizing my GOD! The blogger and the blog have become cold. We have backslide altogether!
Though I still feel emotionally down, by faith, I hoped for a better year. I hope to abide in God’s word in Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." I pray and hope that my personal relationship with God will be rekindled this year. And I also hope that this blog will become an instrument of reflection and unselfish love to my Savior.
If listing a New Year’s Resolution would help me focus on what to do this year in this blog, then my list would be this:
1. Write a prayerful reflection on the daily verse supplied by BibleGateway.com widget.
2. Participate at least once a week at “A Wife’s Biblical Submission” Online Bible Study.
3. Read the eBook entitled Fascinating Womanhood and try to post a personal reflection on the topics tackled.
There are a lot of things going on my mind right now but it’s already early dawn, I need to sleep first and be ready for church later. I will continue to blog my thoughts and hopes on my spiritual life and this blog later on.
