Happy New Year to all Food POI readers and other foodies around the globe. Early in the morning, I received an envelope on me table all the way from USA. I get so excited coz everytime whenever I receive envelopes from US, it is mostly cheque from Google or some other ads network.
The first thing I saw when open up the envelope, I saw a piece of card with printed photo at the front. All the peoples in the photo I never see or met them before.

Then I open up and read where do this came from.

Xmas is coming near …. have you prepared/book your roast turkey yet? If you are too lazy to do it, I suggest you book a restaurant and enjoy it there minus all the cooking and washing hassled. Food POI would like to take the opportunity to wish you Merry Xmas and a happy near year.
It may be weird to see me post this article up so fast. But after deduct all the holidays Chinese New Year are coming up in no time. About exactly 1 month from Xmas day. I put this up so that people can get some idea on where to dine for their “LOU SANG” ceremony. After reading the article, you can start call Tai Zi Heen to book your table ahead of everyone else. At least you know what is served compare to all your previous years which you are pretty clueless what will be served in the restaurants and avoid waiting for a table. Continue reading below to find out more.
Thanks to the management of Prince Hotel KL, I was invited for a food tasting sessions at their Tai Zi Heen - Chef’s Special Chinese New Year A La Carte Selections session. Tai Zi Heen is an award winning restaurant voted by Malaysia Tatler for the year 2007/2008. Even the chef also won several awards.

Mexican foods in our Malaysian market I would say it is much dominant by Chilis. When people talk about Tostada chips and Fajitas, we would automatically think of them. I guess it is more probably they have been long in the market and have more branches with their expansion accross Malaysia. But to dine there is ain’t cheap. It is much of a medium range type of restaurant which also serves as a bar for chilling out on their famous Presidente Margarita.
Yesterday I came across Masak-Masak’s post on Nachos Nachos located inside Giant Hypermarket, Kota Damansara.

It all started 2 weeks before our national independence day in year 2007. That time a lot of my colleague were taking annual leave and ask about good foods location in my hometown or any places which I’ve been to. In my day job, I travel a lot and always look for best local foods which recommended by my business associates or customers. During that time, I just use my phone to take the pictures. It was a Sony Ericsson K800i 3.2Mpixel Camera phone which still in service until today. This is a good phone I can say.
