Good Grief! Now he needs a new watch

Ok now my husband's watch bit the dust so I told him to get a new one. He is interested in the Luminox watches. I didn't even know what they were so I checked them out online. I must say some of them are beautiful watches. Since he really needs a watch for work I told him to just order one. They say women can't decide, but guess what he can't decide which one he wants! So the only hold up is for him to make a decision.

Losing weight and middle age Bummer!

Well I can tell you now that when you reach middle age losing weight is hell. You gain it, but you don't lose it easily. I went from a size 10 to between a size 16 to a18. So now I am trying to lose some of that weight. My first thing is to try to walk on my treadmill at least 15 minutes a day. My second is to eat at least one piece of fruit a day. My third is to give up pop. My problem is finding a substitution for pop. If you have any suggestions let me know.

New Tools Already?

My husband told me yesterday that "Oh by the way I need some new air tools for work" Now wouldn't that have been nice to know when I was racking my brain as to what to give him for Christmas. I told him as much, and his answer was of course I didn't think about it. All I can say is well crap! So now we are shopping for new tools. I could have so done without this right now. Now I just have to decide whether to beat him or forgive him.

Sales! Sales! Sales! Penneys, Dillard, Sears!

I went shopping yesterday at Penney's. They have a lot of items on sale for 70% off! I bought 3 pairs of nice sweat pants, 2 sweatshirt jackets, 1 shirt, and a lightweight jacket for about $43.00 including tax, can you believe it! I didn't even make it to Dillard's. Yet.

Looking for a TV Lift Cabinet

My husband and I have been shopping for a TV lift cabinet. I didn't realize there were so many tv lifts on the market. I mean they come in all styles and sizes. They even have ones that look like a fireplace with a mantle. They are just too cool! My husband is actually talking about just buying the mechanism and building his own. I'm not sure that will happen, but it would be great to have one. I would like my living room to actually look like a sitting room not a TV room.

Have you started your diet yet?

I am really glad that the holidays are over. Now it is time to start a diet. My problem is which one? I want a diet that is more of a lifestyle change that really a diet, because when I lose the weight I want it to stay off. My problem is I really hate to cook so now I have to find one that is relatively easy to do. My friend, told me to try the weight watchers online but she loves to cook so cooking all the special foods are not a problem for her. I really need one that is for people who hate to cook. Is there such a diet?

New Auto Insurance? I am looking

I am looking for new auto insurance. We have been with the same company for several years, but my sister and brother have been having lots of trouble with them lately. I decided I don't need trouble, and if they don't care about their customers it's time to move on. I have been checking out several companies online and most are about the same. I really can't say so far that one company is better than another. If anyone has any suggestions for me I am all ears.
