A back and forth battle ensued between 2 of the most depleted teams in the league, the Detroit Pistons and the Los Angeles Clippers. The game had a whopping 21 lead changes and 14 ties. The Pistons would get the better of LA in the final seconds of the game with the score ending 88-87.
Without Rasheed Wallace and Richard Hamilton the tough minded Pistons win their 7th straight game. Rodney Stuckey led the team with 24 points and right behind him was Tayshaun Prince with 20 points. Antonio McDyess was huge off the bench with 6 points and 15 rebounds in only 23 minutes of game time. With the addition of AI this year, the Pistons hope to get back to the Eastern Conference Finals. It might be an uphill struggle as the Celtics and Cavaliers will probably stand in their way.

On Saturday night the Minnesota Timberwolves faced off against the home town Chicago Bulls and came away with a victory with a score ending at 102-92. The Bulls now drop to a record of 14 wins and 20 losses. If the Playoffs started today the Chicago team wouldn’t even make the cut. It has been a disappointing year so far for the Bulls franchise. The one bright spot of this game was Tyrus Thomas who mustered up 8 blocks and kept them in the game, but to no avail.
The T-Wolves are one of the worst teams in the Western Conference with a record now of 8 wins and 25 losses. This was a good win for this young team though, with Randy Foye leading the way with 21 points. Ryan Gomes contributed 19 points and Al Jefferson had 18 points. Off the bench Kevin Love had 18 points and Sebastian Telfair had 15 points.
