Hangin' out with the old crew.

I moved out of Merville paranaque last year. It was bittersweet. I do miss my buds. So when they demanded that I show up to the Christmas party, I was floored with excitement! I just had to go! And I did! And I was glad.

The party was held at Brazil, Brazil (or something like that) at the Fort. Lovely place. Pricey chow though.

Me, Edric, and Zer.

More of me, Edric, and Zer.

Martin's loving his new camera.

William, and me.

Brenold and Denise.

Jo, and her bro, Jay.

William waits for his next meal.

Amanda, and Chebz. What's with the emo faces, guys?

Denise, and William.

Zer, and Martin's son, Jeff. I love playing with that kid, If only he wasn't so scared of me.

Of course, arriving fashionably late, Cocoy and Tiff enter the scene. Here, Cocoy's showing our secret handshake. Well that's what I was told when I was younger. Nice to see you too, fÜcker. Hehehehe.

Jeff, Cocoy, and William.

Jeff loves Uncle William the most.

After that, Cocoy invited us to his house for a round of Wii in Merville. Man, I really missed the place. It was nice seeing the familiar streets. Hell, even the guards remembered me.

And finally Edric, looking dumb. Some things never change.

Aya-chan's teambuilding rideout

Hung out with Aya and her team during their teambuilding thing in Cavite. It was at a place called Fisher's Farm. Some sorta resort. This should be a hoot.

7am. Insular Life building parking lot. Too damn early to be awake. On a weekend.

Aya came along for the ride. You could tell cause I don't own anything pink.

My bike, and my boss' bike.

Me and Jamie horsing around.

Me and Aya being bored.

More "waiting for everybody else to show up" pics.

Tough guy, and tough gal.
At last the time to ride out came, and we made out first stopover. Total Gas, Alabang, for Ice.

This is Daang Hari at 60kmh. Trippy.

Made it to Cavite alive. But man,was I sleepy.

Yes, That's a whole lot of soda behind me. Hence the grin.

Passing out in 3... 2... 1...

Aya's itchin' to hit the pool. There's no way she's getting me in te pool.

Somehow I woke up in the COLDEST hot tub in the world. You could tell I was having fun. Turns out the resort people thought it would be cool to have a jacuzzi with only the water jets installed. Brrr...
Later on, the team hung out at Total, Alabang to get inebriated.

Aya was getting dizzy with the gas fumes, and I was getting pissed at the flash thingy.

Thumbs up!

Boss Emgrey's all smiles.

I can't even remember how much I ate during this trip.

AYA: Chew your food!
BOOGIE: Not now. Eating.

Another Saturday with the NOS boyz...

Another Saturday afternoon at Gil's. Being single has its perks.

Here's Jon, and Edward working on the Dragstar.

In walked this rare beauty. A Yamaha TDM850. That's one sexy Baja bike.

To pass the time away, I decided to play with Gil's grandson, Miguel. This guy chuckles when he hears an engine revving. I love him already.

No, that's not Pepe Smith. He's Brent. Some goofy American who's imagining strange noises coming from his engine. Man, I dunno if it's drugs you gotta stop taking, or drugs you gotta start taking, but man, do something!

After giving the Dragstar the spa treatment, we decided to stretch our legs. Gil took me blasting through Macapagal, where we stopped for a quick meal at Jollibee.

Here's Gil's Steed, and my Dragstar.

Later on that evening, we met up with Ed, Cynthia, Jon, Jauhn, Edwin, and Noel at a little cafe inside Multinational village. Loved the BBQ. After eating our fill we discussed some activities for the group like a charity ride, and our much-awaited iron butt ride to Pampanga. Can't wait for that one.

Sunrise ride with the Sunset Riders... Makes sense?... Didn't think so...

The morning after bombing the town with the NOS Boys, I went on a ride to Tagaytay with my officemates. Now THAT'S a teambuilding event! Too bad we're from different teams.

I Met up with Jovs, Joveth, and EJ at Jollibee Madrigal at 4am. Then rode off to meet Karl at SM Molino at 5am. A bit of a ways further we met up with Emgrey and Grace.

Somwhere in Cavite, Emgrey got a flat, so we had to find a vulcanizer guy who's up at 6am. Well we found the guy and he was happy to oblige. WHile waiting we took the opportunity to take a few pics.

Early morning bike bling!

This is us finally finding a vulcanizing shop. Next task: Wake the guy up.

Of course a few group pics.

This is me asking Emgrey if everything's ok. And now that that's done, we sped off to Mahogany Market for some Bulalo. It was too dark inside the Mahogany Maket to take pics cause it wasn't well lit. So no pics.

Fast forward to Mushroom Burger. Heard so much about this place. Had to take pics.

I really don't get the "frostbite" poses, guys.

Emgrey's attempts at an artistic shot. The model looks high.

After that we headed out to the restos near Taal to take a gander at this ol' beaut... And to take more pics of course.

The Teriyaki Boy mascot has got to be THE most unfriendly looking mascot ever! He's got that "GETAWAYFROMME!" look on his face.

By the power of... Emgrey?!?!?

NOS Boys Saturday Night Bombing Run

Ok, little story first. On the way home Friday night, my headlamp went out. I was bummed. Went to Gil's The following day to have it looked at. Turns out the Bulb's busted. Gotta fork over some cash for a new one. Which leads us to a new problem. The headlamp assembly's pretty tight, so we(Gil, Jon, Pablo, Edward) couldn't figure out how to openi it without smashing it. However, I NEEDED a headlamp bad, so Gil ripped out a foglamp from a nearby truck, and slapped it onto my bike.

Here's Gil helping with the "calibration".

As you can see, the "wiring" is really truly "intricate".

Anyway, fast forward to 7pm. Gil and I were waiting for Jon, a newbie to arrive. Edwin's already with us and was simply warming his engine up. Jon shows up at 7pm on the dot, apologizing, and blaming Saturday night traffic. So we head out to Jolilbee, to meet up with Ed, Cicero, and Jauhn who's coming from work.
Gil's Honda Steed, and my Yamaha Dragstar.
Jon's Honda "CB550-engine-in-a-CB750-frame" custom bike, and Edwin's Honda Steed.

All in a row.

Turns out, Ed's at a carshow in SM MOA, and Cicero can't make it. So the minute Jauhn came over, from work, we sped off to Macapagal, taking the quickest "cop-free" route to meet up with Ed.
Gil decided to do a quick "round-the-mall" run. Great idea. After scaring random children, and setting off car alarms with the roar of our engines, we decided to hang out at Cafe de Lipa in Petron. Turns out Gil frequents the joint to work his magic on a young waitress who works there. The fun never stops for Gil. Hehehehe.

Ah, there you go, better lighting...

Another angle...

"...Ooh...Shiny..."

Yes, our bikes are cam whores.

Meh. Shaky hands give a bit of a hazy effect.

I finally hung out with the NOS boys again. It's been so long. Plus I REALLY needed this rideout.

It's Julio - F*cking - Valiente, bitches!

Ladies gentlemen...

The legendary...

The indestructible...

The ridiculous...

Julio Valiente!

He's so hardcore, physics doesn't apply to him. Gravity is but a mere myth to him!

And yes, I know it's a catchy tune. So in case you're in the mood to embarass yourselves, here are the lyrics!

julio valiente!
valiente...
julio valiente! 2x

ito ang kasaysayan na nangyari noon
aming naaalala mapahanggang ngaun
ang bayang san basilio kahit na kay liit
bawat dampa'y may taong sadyang mababait

julio valiente! 3x
valiente valiente aaaaahhhh

ngunit saang mangdako may ahas din pala
mga taksil na taong mapagsamantala
isang julio valiente sadyang mapagmahal
ang nagtanggol sa bayan tuwing may mangangamkam

julio valiente makisig matapang

julio valiente! 3x
valiente valiente aaaaahhhh

Hell yea.
