I find it amazing that a house's look and feel can change with how it is decorated both inside and out. I mean, you can have different vibes or moods in a house when you have certain touches here and there. The mix of the interior paint colors and the furniture make it look and feel different. Well lighting also plays a big role in setting the mood of a house.   Most often than not, it gives the most important aspect to a homes feel and look.

I am also amaze by the fact the interior designer can make the right decisions when it comes to matching everything.  I mean they can decide on the paint color and the furniture that goes with it.  Also, they can tell if you will need fine art lamps to go with a coffee table.  They can also advise you if natural sunlight or hinkley light fixtures are the best for a modern room.   I admire them for their work, and how they often lighten up a house and make it into a home for someone.

Today we decided to stay at home and rest. Oh well, not exactly rest because we're doing some sort of house general cleaning. We always spend our day out and have fun with the kids. Spending the day out without spending to much money. We celebrated Christmas happily. Exchanging gifts to make the kids happy. We made sure not to give them a lot unnecessary things. We only bought the gifts that they surely love and that's it, no more than that. They we're happy. I got a new canon zoom lens from my man and it was less expected. I never wanted anything but I'm happy of course what I got. I love my new lens for I can capture photos with quite far distance. I'm obsessed with photography. I'm not really a material girl but I'm always happy whatever comes. I love shopping too, who doesn't anyway? But you know, there were times that I end up window shopping and don't know what to buy for myself. Can't find anything I like for myself. Are you sometimes like that? I buy what I like and made sure it's worth buying and not just wasting. I give hubby Hugo Boss perfume and want him to use it when we're together going out lol. He can use it anytime anyway hahaha. He's not using any fragrance before so it's worth giving him one and he liked it. Hugo Boss smells so good. What makes me more happy is knowing that I give a portion to any charities that needs help. I'm happy knowing that I made my love ones happy too. Do you know the feeling? It's awesome! I am not rich and famous but I feel I am when I give a portion of what I have to the needy. I do have a very poor relatives and looking forward to help them in the near future. I don't understand why I have this feeling. This sometimes caused trouble with me and my man. Why I care so much with so many people. I can't answer him most of the time. All I know is I love what I'm doing. If only I am so wealthy. How I wish I can help more. I know I need to prioritize my kids since they're still young and myself because my family need me to be healthy and pretty hahaha.

My hubby is in the IT industry, and he sort of has a travel lifestyle. Back when we actually started of together, he was assigned to Israel. I thought it was one of the toughest places to have a first assignment, considering the situation there and all. Thank goodness, he came home in one piece.

That was actually the start of his travel life. There wasn't a whole year that he would not be away for more at least 3 months. He only stayed on assignment for 3 months at a time, but sometimes he traveled 2-3 times within a year. Come to think of it, he nearly spent all his birthdays alone on assignment; and most of them in Australia.  

The only positive thing about his travels with the company was having travel insurance to protect him, and of course us.    God forbid if anything happened to him during his travels, we were assured knowing that he was and we (my kids and I) were going to be taken cared of.   A Travel lifestyle is good, but it has its hazards too.  Travel Insurance is there to give peace of mind for both the traveler and the family that he is leaving behind.

Christmas in our hearts is a popular Christmas song of one of the best and popular singer in the Philippines Jose Marie Chan. I always love his kind of music and I really this song of him.  If you'll search about him you'll know how good he is. He has a wonderful angelic voice. Enjoy and Happy Christmas everyone.
