Google Trends Hacked - Google funds terrorism

Just received a comment from those people responsible in gaming the Google Hot Trends data that the next keyword spamming might be "Google funds terrorism". Just watch Google Trend page if the mentioned keyword appears.

The commenter may be just another prankster or he could really be a group member in spamming the keyword "ƞīɢɢɛʀș ʟɨƙɛ ƙḟƈ" or a symbol of aeroplane hitting twin-tower.

Anyway, it just proved that even a giant like Google can be game, even though for a short period. Ya, Google robots are working furiously to maintain laws and orders in the blogsphere.

Google Trends Hacked - ƞīɢɢɛʀș ʟɨƙɛ ƙḟƈ

What do you notice at the top of Google Hot Trends for Jan 07, 2009? A term "ƞīɢɢɛʀș ʟɨƙɛ ƙḟƈ" or in plain English, "niggers like KFC". I like KFC too.

What in the world is "ƞīɢɢɛʀș ʟɨƙɛ ƙḟƈ"? I have no idea but it occupied the number spot. However, Google Trends failed to show results in News articles, Blog posts and Web results section. Maybe Google Trends censored the result or it's a work by hackers.

Screen shot of the "ƞīɢɢɛʀș ʟɨƙɛ ƙḟƈ"

According to some report, how the keyword spamming works is that a bunch of nothing-to-do people search for a given set of characters that are never searched for. The increase in the search volume quickly vaults the strings, like ƞīɢɢɛʀș ʟɨƙɛ ƙḟƈ up to #1 in Googles hourly trends. Google being unsensored mostly, besides for key adult words allows this stuff even though most people will find it offensive. Google should really do a better job at having someone quickly look over the 100 searched terms before releasing them publicly every hour.

UPDATES:
* 09:39am (GMT +8) Google funds terrorism , next keyword spam?
* 08:48am (GMT +8) Google has remove the offensive keyword from their hot trends list.

Satyam Scam Scandal - Ramalinga Raju Ponzi Scheme

After the US financial world was shaken by Bernard Madoff admission of misappropriating investors fund in his so-called Ponzi Scheme or Madoff Scheme, it's India turn to be shaken by a financial scandal. The latest Indian financial scandal has been aptly named Satyam Scam or Satyam Scandal. Ramalinga Raju the of Chairman and founder of Satyam has resigned abruptly from Satyam board after he admitted his fraud scam.

With this latest event, Satyam and anything related to Satyam has dominated the Google Search Engine result page for today.

SEBI Chairman C B Bhave is talking to the media and calling the developments baffling and is also talking about the Statutory Auditors of the Company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and how they certified the company accounts for the last six years without getting a wind of any wrong doing ! The Ethics and Business conduct of PWC which they claim is based on excellence, teamwork and leadership!! Big words, but they are yet to make a statement on clearing their position. The PWC Auditors certainly have a lot to answer!

BlogTactic: Remember the ENRON scandal and their auditor was Authur Anderson. Big auditor firm, big cover up.

Investor Confidence Shaken - The Investor confidence is really shaking and it is hard to digest that after two big stock market scams, there was a possibility that a so called giant could have such inflated figures. It has long been discussed in undertones that a lot of so called Indian Stock Market Giants follow window dressing to show inflated profits, but this is the first time that a fraud of such scale has emerged in a huge corporate giant of the size of Satyam.

--------------------------------------

The WallStreet Journal: The Shame of Satyam

Voting with your feet isn't necessarily the best way to enforce strict corporate governance, as the scandal at Satyam Computer Services is likely to prove.

For shareholders in many of India's family-controlled companies it's the only viable option available.

Fund managers dumped Satyam's shares in December after the company said it would buy two property companies part-owned by its founders. Those acquisitions, quickly abandoned, rang so many alarm bells that Satyam's U.S.-listed shares plunged as much as 60% in New York.

Wednesday's disclosure that those property deals were in fact a last-gasp attempt to fill a hole in its finances, falsely inflated for years by its founder and chairman, Ramalinga Raju, pays off on every bet made against the company.

The whole affair -- already being dubbed India's Enron -- throws India's corporate governance into sharp relief. That Mr. Raju thought it appropriate to spend $1.6 billion on two firms so unrelated to Satyam's business and in which he had a financial interest, without seeking shareholder approval, speaks volumes about his sense of what his shareholders would tolerate.

--------------------------------------

The New York Times : Satyam Shares Plunge on Scandal

The chairman of Satyam Computer Services, a leading Indian information technology company that serves numerous Fortune 500 companies, resigned on Wednesday after disclosing major accounting irregularities, sending Satyam’s shares down 77 percent, The New York Times’s Heather Timmons and Bettina Wassener reported.

Ramalinga Raju resigned after revealing that the company’s financial position had been massively inflated during the course of the company’s expansion from a handful of employees into an outsourcing giant with 53,000 employees and operations in 66 countries.

Mr. Raju said Wednesday that 5.4 billion rupees, or $1.04 billion, of the 53.6 billion rupees in cash the company reported at the end of its second quarter that ended in September were nonexistent.

In a lengthy statement to the Bombay stock exchange, he described how the gap had grown over several years. “What started as a marginal gap between actual operating profit and the one reflected in the books of accounts continued to grow over the years. It has attained unmanageable proportions as the size of company operations grew,” his statement said.

--------------------------------------

Now Public : Ramalinga Raju Chairman Satyam Computers resigns : Irregularities

Ramalinga Raju Chairman Satyam Computers (NYSE: SAY ) resigns over Financial Irregularities. A few weeks back India's leading financial daily reported that he had sent in his resignation to the Board and as it was confirmed today that he has resigned due to massive financial irregularities. He has admitted that the books of the company were inflated by INR 5040 crore, translating into INR 50400 million.

--------------------------------------

Reuters : India shares provisionally fall 7.3pct, Satyam dives

Indian shares provisionally shed 7.31 percent on Wednesday after the head of Satyam Computer Services (SATY.BO) resigned and said the firm's profits had been inflated sending its stocks down more than three-fourth.

--------------------------------------

Street Insider : Reports HP Is Eyeing Satyam Computer (SAY)

Before this scandal, there were reports that suggest HP could be attracted by Satyam's lucrative business software practice and the opportunity to challenge rival IBM's bigger, low-cost offshore capabilities is also alluring.

--------------------------------------

Sell Your Unwanted Stuff Online For Cash

Don't dispose your unwanted stuffs. Sell it online for extra Cash. Beside auctioning those unwanted items at eBay, now you have the opportunity to sell it at TripleClicks.

Use TripleClicks as your online garage sale to clean out your closets, attic, and garage! Easily list and sell dozens or even hundreds of miscellaneous items. Basically, you are turning your junks into hard cold cash.

Why stash ...when you can have cash? Or, convert the stuff you no longer want...into stuff you do! TripleClicks offers you thousands of new, brand-name products plus collectables and more, with new items added daily. It's your choice: convert to cash or products you want.

Here's how easy it is:

1. Register FREE as a TripleClicks Member (if you haven't already).

2. Purchase some Ad Credits (for as little as 19 cents each) to use whenever you want. You can skip this step if you already have at least one credit.

3. List your items (each listing costs you just one credit). You can use up to 700 words and up to three photos for each item and we'll continue to run your listing for as long as you'd like.

4. Each time someone buys one of your items, we'll notify you with an e-mail so you can ship the item to the buyer.

5. Once delivery is confirmed, you get paid!

What can you sell at TripleClicks ?

Almost anything except for used underwear and live pets! See their product departments below:

Apparel & Jewelry, Books, Business, Computers, Electronics, Food & Beverage, Gifts & Flowers, Health & Wellness, Home & Garden, Magazines, Miscellaneous, Movies, Music & Games, Personal Care, Pet Care, Sports & Outdoors, Tools & Automotive, Toys, Kids & Baby

Anyone buying those unwanted stuff?

You may no longer want your stuff, but there is someone want it for a bargain. Instead of having a garage sale to sell all the unwanted stuff, now it's easy to use the Internet to trade items online.

The term: "One man's trash is another man's gold", is true. For example, take one person on the west side of the US which has a movie or videogame and has played it so many times that they're bored of it. What do they do, throw it in a drawer and let it gather dust? NO! Now that item can be used as money, in a sense, towards the purchase of another item.

Do you need capital to earn money from your unwanted stuff?

No you don't. Remember you have paid for the stuff and it is now worth zero dollar to you. But selling those unwanted stuff will return you some dollars ! With zero capital, the only task you need to do now is to collect those unwanted stuff, catalog them and sign up with TripleClicks and start selling them online.

Want to turn some of your unwanted stuff into cash? Here's where to sell it for the biggest return:

Books

List popular titles on Half.com or Ebay. Sell everything else at used book stores, through TripleClicks.com or at your next yard sale.

Clothes

Sort out your best clothes, and sell them to a consignment store, through Ebay or TripleClicks. Group the rest into lots, and post an ad on Craigslist or in your local classifieds. Sell the rest in a yard sale.

Furniture

Sell pieces of exceptional quality on consignment or at auction. List good quality pieces on Craigslist or in the newspaper classifieds. Sell everything else in a yard sale.

Antiques and Collectibles

Sell your best pieces on consignment or at auction (online or off). List the rest on Craigslist or in the newspaper classifieds. If they don't sell, try a dealer.

Sports Equipment

Sell lightly used sports equipment to a used sports shop like Play It Again Sports or post sales flyers where your child/you go for practice. Sell all remaining items to a pawn shop, through Craiglist or through a local classified.

Electronics

Sell newer electronic items on Ebay, through Craigslist, or through the classified section of your local newspaper. Sell old (but still useable) items through Craigslist, a classified ad or a yard sale. Sell obsolete or broken electronics through Ebay (when there's a market for them).

CDs/DVDs/Video Games

Sell newer releases on Craigslist, through a classified or on Ebay. List everything else on Half.com or sell them through a site that buys used media.

Housewares

Sell highly-sought-after items on Ebay, on consignment, through Craigslist or through a classified. Sell everything else in a yard sale.

Appliances

List working appliances on Craigslist or in the newspaper. Sell broken appliances to a recycling center for scrap.

Jewelry

Have antique and good quality pieces appraised. Then, sell them at auction, through Ebay or to a dealer. Sell lesser pieces on consignment or through Ebay. Sell junk jewelry at your next yard sale.

Musical Instruments

Contact the band directors at area middle schools and high schools to let them know you have an instrument for sale. If that fails, advertise on Craigslist or through a classified ad. Sell your instrument to a music shop or pawn shop as a last resort.

Launching of TripleClicks.com

SFI affiliates must be joyful for the just-launched of TripleClicks.com. TripleClicks is a new store and the crown jewel of SFI 3.0 (their major re-branding after 10 years).

Here are some of TC's exciting features:

• ONE store for everything. TC services both SFI affiliates and retail customers alike. Note: Just be sure to log in whenever you visit TC, however, so that all the special SFI affiliate features we've built in are displayed to you.

• We are launching today with OVER 6,000 products, but the scope of TC is UNLIMITED! We'll be adding thousands of additional products every year. Additionally, by way of the TC Private Seller Program (more on this shortly), there will also soon be numerous, if not dozens, of new products added DAILY.

• TC delivers not only new products in dozens of new categories, but also closeouts, collectables, and hard-to-find items available nowhere else.

• Because of how it's been built, virtually anything can be added to TC. Goods, services, downloadable software and media, just about anything. We purposely chose a "generic" name (TripleClicks) to allow us to expand and grow in any direction we want, in fact.

• Earn instant SVP on EVERY product in the store...including all Private Seller items and SFI promotional materials like X-Cards, postcards, business cards, etc.

• An exclusive, money-saving daily deal ("Deal Of The Day") featured on TC's homepage every day.

• Special weekly/monthly sales with special discount prices.

• You can promote the store as a whole, or any individual product in the store, or any department, or any selection of products of your choosing. Learn more HERE.

• Standing Orders, on thousands of products, are now available both to affiliates AND retail customers. When an affiliate or customer places an order containing any Standing Order-Eligible product, they'll automatically be alerted how to easily set up a Standing Order for that item. This can mean tons of automatic, monthly commissions (AKA residual income) for you.

Tip: You can used the TC Advanced Search to easily find Standing Order Eligible products. When browsing the store, you'll also notice that Standing Order Eligible products feature a small "SOE" icon.

• More (over 50!) payment options.

• Product shipment tracking.

• Express Checkout feature allows you to make purchases in seconds.

• Wishlists

• Store multiple shipping addresses and multiple payment methods--which can be instantly accessed via pulldown menus during checkout.

• Seamless integration with VeryVIP. If you are a VeryVIP subscriber, you now have powerful additional tools to promote TC and generate customers.

• One-click sitewide currency conversions for 17 major world currencies.

• Pay for any store purchase with your SFI commissions and/or earnings from your own Private Seller sales at the new store.

• Standard and expedited shipping options.

Special note on shipping costs: One of our key objectives with the new store was to reduce shipping costs (especially for international affiliates and customers). To achieve this goal, we completely overhauled our shipping programming and installed all new software and hardware in our shipping center. We expect that this will have a positive impact.

Additionally, with TC's Private Seller Program (more on this in a moment), products will be available for shipment from all over the world. This will also help reduce shipping costs since the product can literally be coming from within your same country, region, or city.

The biggest impact item, however, will be our alliances with dropshipping companies that will ship to you from around the world. Unfortunately, we were not able to get this component completed in time for our launch today. But rest assured, this IS coming. Watch for updates on this topic.

Scammers targeting Twitter users

Scammers has flocked to the bird land of Twitter to phish for Twitter user's Login ID and Password from their users via a fake email with a link. Fortunately, Twitter is aware of the phishing attempt and it is under control. Twitter have caught the phishing scheme which was being circulated through DMs (Direct Messages). Once clicking on the link in the phish email, you get redirected to a fake Twitter login page that grabs your password on the blog.

With millions of Twitter users, it's a heaven for scammers and hackers to deceive unsuspected users of their Twitter account information. Stolen Twitter ID could be use by those scammers to fraud other Twitter users or maybe to commit crime.

I myself received one such email from a fellow Twitter which was probably sent without his knowledge. It look very genuine. See the email below.

The suggested link (to rosalierebyb.blogspot.com) was however bad and has been blacklisted as web forgery by OpenDNS and Google.

Beware of these sites (avoid them):
http://jannawalitax.blogspot.com/
http://twitterblog.access-logins.com/login
http://rosalierebyb.blogspot.com/

How the phishing work

In order to DM someone, that person needs to follow you. This increases the time to carry out a large scale phishing operation. But that also means, there are some scammers among your followers.

For those fortunate enough to have not been introduced, Phishing is the act of acquiring someone’s information by misrepresentation as a trusted entity. In this case people received email messages from their friends’ Twitter or Facebook accounts who had been duped by the scam, clicked to a site that looked like your Facebook or Twitter login page and entered their name and passwords. Then all their friends got direct-messaged and solicited and so on. If it got you, don’t feel too badly; even some of the most experienced get scammed sometimes.

Avoid being phish at Twitter

For more information on the latest attack on Twitter users and tips on avoiding being scammed or phished at Twitter, read Twitter post at Gone Phishing

As always, vigilance and skepticism are part of our Internet experience and at time, we need to be even skeptical with out "net friends".

Make more money online with better SEO

I came across this site about How to Make Money Online for Beginners when I Google about "how to make money". His recently post was about SEO or Search Engine Optimization and how important it is in our effort to make money online.

His posting on "SEO for Google 2009" discussed on the how to get traffic from SEO instead of social traffic from fellow bloggers and friends.

In addition, he elaborate on the importance of SERP or Search Engine Ranking Page instead of other typical ranking such as Google PR, Alexa or RSS.

Below are his 4 Steps to Google Dominance on SERP ranking,

1. Keyword Research

2. Forget Quality Content (No such thing to a machine) - use Relevant Content.

3. On Page Keyword Optimization

4. Develop 1 way Inbound Links to your site.

Target the most popular keywords in your niche, add relevant content, use your main keyword in your URL, Blog Title, Page and Post titles and then spend the rest of your time developing quality inbound links.

With regards to inbound links, he suggested 5 Measurements of Inbound Links

1. The Quantity of inbound links - This is least important but effective for low competition keywords.

2. The Title keywords on the page linking to you.

3. The Anchor Text used in the link pointing to you - You will only rank for the terms others use in their links pointing at your site. This is crucial for gaining top ranking.

4. The Relevance of the content on the page linking to you - The site with the most keyword anchored links coming from relevant content posts/pages will outrank all others.

5. The Quality of the inbound link - The best link you can possibly get is a PR10 link using your main keyword in the anchor coming from within a post relevant to your keyword. The further from this optimum the less quality the link. A few of these quality links will easily have you outranking sites with 1000's of lesser quality links.

So my friends, we all know that contents drive traffic but with proper usage of keywords in SEO technique, you will get even better SERP ranking and better amount of traffic. That equates to better online revenue for your blogging efforts.

Traffic spike from Kintiskton Llc

BlogTactic just got traffic spike from Kintiskton Llc which originated from Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. It looks like those hits are from their spider bots. Could it be a lawless spider? I have no clue why Kintiskton spider bots visit my site as I would prefer human traffic. Traffic spike is just traffic spike and pretty for traffic statistics not have no impact on revenue.

Below is a snapshot of Kintiskton Llc's spider bots making their visit to BlogTactic. See the red circles which denote the number of page views.

WhoIs record indicated that Kintiskton Llc is registered at Mountain View, California but my traffic stats traced Kintiskton traffic from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Apparently it is not only BlogTactic that got the traffic spike from Kintiskton as other bloggers have reported that they too got mysterious blog hits, big hits, multiple hits, spider hits from Kintiskton.

This kind of unwanted traffic spike could spell trouble as not only it eat my blog bandwidth (and prevent genuine visitors from accessing this blog) but also a potential attempt to attack the site. Mmmm, are there hackers from Kintiskton or Verizon Business? Hopefully no.

I have to monitor the traffic source if spider bots from Kintiskton make a return visit. For the time being, I have to research on how to prevent the bot from hitting this blog.

Tips on choosing a prefect blog name

Admit it. Everyone want a perfectly good blog name. Naming your blog is like choosing a good name for a child. Choose wisely, choose carefully.

All the good blog names were taken

How do you go about selecting the perfect ideal name for your blog? Surprisingly complicated. Why? Well, most if not all the GOOD blog names were taken! Even goodblognames.wordpress.com or goodblognames.blogspot.com has been taken.

Names are tricky, along with choosing your niche a name can be one of the harder initial decisions. When you do find a name that you like then you have to go back to the drawing board because the perfect domain is taken.

There are still ways to get good blog name

You can only do this well after settling on a niche for your blog. Only personal blogs can really successfully start with the blog name and choose the subject matter later! First you have a think about what sort of blog you are writing. Take a look around at what sort of blogs are in your subscription list, here are some examples.

Personal Blog - These vary from "Obama Secret Blog" to completely random and odd names. Personal blogs are all about unique personality and the names are either unimaginatively the persons name or evoke the promise of interest and fun. Honestly, some personal blog name can be just awful.

Whimsical Blog - If the aim is to be funny then choosing a dry business like name is not going to work.

Product Blog and Business Blog - Some product and business blogs are straightforward, peddling their products and company services.

8 Naming Tips For A Good Blog Name

A really good name for your blog will be

1. Short
2. Relevant
3. Readable
4. Pronounceable
5. Spellable
6. Memorable
7. Concise
8. Unique

What you need to do to get a good blog names

Brainstorm - Look at what we have discussed so far and aim to invent more and more words as they spring to mind. Play with ideas. Combining words and creating new words, checking a thesaurus, getting the help of friends and family can all help.

Switch off your internal critic while you create. Jot down every name no matter how daft, at this point you are aiming for quantity, not quality!

Once you have a big long list go through and ditch the worst offenders then copy the remaining list and either choose or get friends to each score a top three. Those you take to the computer and check for domain name availability.

A word on search engines - While there may be a small benefit with search engines to have your domain use a keyword, I believe this is by far outweighed by the branding benefits of choosing a great name. If your best name does not contain your keywords do not sweat. I would much rather have a good name than a keyword-laden one.

Great time to start an online business

Skyrocketing oil price, stock market crashed, business scandals, bailout, company collapsed, retrenchment, layoff ... these are the negative events from 2008. So will 2009 fair any better ? Actually, now IS a great time to start an online business. While corporate America suffers, the best home-built businesses thrive. So it is time for beating a bad global economy -- from home.

Indeed, more than half of all U.S. businesses are now run from kitchen tables, extra bedrooms, basements and garages. Home-based businesses make a $530 billion contribution to the nation’s economy each year.

And for many Americans, starting up at home has become a necessity. What appeared to be simply another economic downturn a year ago, has devolved into a far more dire situation. Major economic giants, including Lehman Bros., American International Group and General Motors, have shown their vulnerability. As corporate titans lay people off by the thousands, many Americans are being forced to find new ways to make a living.

Their criteria? Inexpensive to start. Immediate results.

Enter home-based businesses. Running your own show from home typically requires little more than a skill set and a passion. It has become the stepping-off point for many a newbie entrepreneur. Greasing the skids for home-based startups are key solutions that bring home operations to life.

Leveraging on past corporate skills

Americans looking for shift of new income source is clearly leveraging skills accumulated during their corporate careers and previous entrepreneurial adventures. They're realizing that they can no longer count on long-term corporate careers.

Adding additional impetus, Americans have watched their retirement savings wither with Wall Street, forcing them to figure out ways to replenish their coffers. That helps make the income generated from a home-based business -- whether primary or supplemental -- incredibly appealing to Americans. Not to mentioned, this trend is also taking place in other parts of the world.

Passionate about online business

But as compelling as the income may be, the one driving force for the success of a home-based business is: passion. Or to some, it is a: mission.

The opportunity to do what you love, minimizing commuting expenses, to have proximity to family and pets and the comforts of home while conducting meaningful work (and get paid), still plays the starring role. Running a business built around a passion adds meaning and direction in life, a welcome antidote to these confusing and disenfranchising times.

The startup world shows no signs of slowing down. Whether people join to combat a tough economy, as an alternative to the corporate life or to simply follow their passions, startups are alive and well. Unlike many of the big enterprises out there today, a great number of home-based ventures are still open for business and truly thriving.

How to improve or increase your BidVertiser earnings? If bloggers or webmasters want to monetize their blogs or websites, the great way to do it is through BidVertiser. There are lots of bloggers or webmasters struggling hard to earn some good money a day through their sites. But then some of the “geniuses” of them are enjoying hundreds of dollars a day from BidVertiser ads on their websites. What makes these bloggers or webmasters different from the other kind is that they are different and they think out of the box.

Here are some 4 proven ways on how best to improve your BidVertiser earnings.

1. Choosing the right ads format. Concentrating on one format of BidVertiser ad. The one format that worked well for the majority is the Large Rectangle (336X280). This same format have the tendency to result in higher CTR, or the click-through rates. Why choose this format out of the many you can use? Basically because the ads will look like normal web links, and people, being used to clicking on them, click these types of links. They may or may not know they are clicking on your BidVertiser but as long as there are clicks, then it will all be for your advantage.

Leaderboard ad (728x90) is suitable to be placed on the header or top of the page. Skyscraper ad (160x600) is suitable to be placed on the side panel.

2. Color it right. Create a custom palette for your ads. Choose a color that will go well with the background of your site. If your site has a white background, try to use white as the color of your ad border and background. The idea to patterning the colors is to make the BidVertiser look like it is part of the web pages. Again, This will result to more clicks from people visiting your site.

3. Show the ad at the right place. Remove the BidVertiser from the bottom pages of your site and put them at the top. Do not try to hide your BidVertiser. Put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between BidVertiser locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Managing ad code. Try to automate the insertion of your BidVertiser code into the webpages. If you are using Blogger template for your blog, the BidVertiser ad code can be inserted in your post template (see Setting > Formatting > Post Template). This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. It is important to know though that ads are displayed because it fits the interest of the people viewing them. So focusing on a specific topic should be your primary purpose because the displays will be especially targeted on a topic that persons will be viewing already.

Note also that there are many other BidVertiser sharing the same topic as you. It is best to think of making a good ad that will be somewhat different and unique than the ones already done. Every clickthrough that visitors make is a point for you so make every click count by making your BidVertiser something that people will definitely click on.

Most recently, it was revealed that Fuld and his colleagues evaporated $75 billion by not planning for an orderly bankruptcy.

AIG, $124 billion bailout

AIG stirred outrage when, shortly after getting a $124 billion bailout from the federal government in September, the firm's senior managers took lavish trips, including a $440,000 weeklong excursion to the St. Regis resort in Orange County, Calif. and an $86,000 English hunting trip.

Motivation Quotes for 2009

An inspirational quotes from Helen Keller:

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It's what sunflowers do.
Beyond the above motivational quote:
Always stay positive and in good spirits. When you avoid the shade of pessimism you may then focus yourself in the light of optimism.
As new year 2009 approaches and to some, the prospects for 2009 is bleak and gloomy, so to avoid such outcast and relief yourself for expected difficulties and challenges, keep your head up and be positive. In short, make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you. Make 2009 a better year for yourself.

The sunflower is so named because of the way in which it turns its head from east to west to follow the sun. Sunflowers have great commercial value, yielding products from edible seeds to cooking oil and livestock fodder.
