Did you know the future does not exist? I don’t know about you but I haven’t seen it all we really have are assumptions about what the future might look like but reality is nothing more than the moment you are in the past does not exist either except for our memories of it.

Now you might think it odd a Psychic should be telling you there is no future but that isn’t quite where I am coming from. The future is created in the moment you are in because only that moment exists you cannt create it tomorrow or yesterday you have to create it today.

Which is why predictions are a lazy man’s way of avoiding taking responsibility for their life direction. If you hand the responsibility over to the pyschic then you don’t have to take responsibility when things don’t go as planned or work out the way you want.

Authentic people are creating their lives in the present they are looking for awareness of roadblocks looking for anything which will shed a little light give a little clarity they don’t want quick fixes or bottled hope they want to know what is not working for them now and how to change it. They want clarity to make better choices they want insight to open up possibilities these are the people who will create the life they want and have enough time to enjoy it.

Really who wants to wait around for 5 years for some prediction to maybe maybe not come true because the reality is there are no guarantees and Psychics can get it wrong even the most accurate ones. Believe in yourself believe in your ability to create the life you want believe the doors will open and trust that a little commitment and hard work will get you where you want to be. I believe in you that is why I do not throw a bunch of one line predictions around I know you deserve more.

You might think it is appropriate to pass on messages on all occassions to all people but that is not the way it works. While those in spirit may need to be heard not everyone is in a place where they can hear.

One thing that is also important to remember is knowing someone is in Spirit does not replace the loss of someone in the physical. You cannot hug a Spirit or hold them or share with them the things you were able to when they were alive. People need to be able to grieve to walk through the steps of loss towards healing and a place of acceptance and peace.

I have a dear friend who experienced a loss recently and it was not my place to step in and go and by the way such and such is here with you. If you do that you run the risk of keeping that person holding onto the past rather than walking towards the future. People have feelings they need to express and work through anger sadness these are things there are not short cuts in we do not have a magic wand that takes away pain and heals broken hearts those things take time.

I am sure sometime in the future when she is ready my friend will appproach me just to know her loved one is at peace. But in the meantime she will walk through her grief and I will support her as her friend by letting her know she is not alone by listening when she needs to talk those are the things most valuable to people who have experienced loss.

So please know at any time you can speak to someone passed just hold a thought of them in your mind and a love within your heart and you will know maybe not by words or picture like I do but maybe it will be a feeling a knowing they are there with you. Sometimes you do not need words just an open mind and heart.

This is when information is picked up one way or the other and shared without thought or consideration. I pick up ’stuff’ all the time about people but it is not my place to go up to these people and say this is what I see hear or get from you. That is Psychic Gossip it is unethical and dangerous and shows a lack of mentoring on the part of the intuitive involved.

Some people are not ready to hear things some people have to find it out for themselves it is a life lesson and yep sometimes it is none of my business. Just because I have an intuitive gift doesn’t give me the right to poke my Psychic antenna into someone else’s life.

Sometimes what we get as Psychics fits into a bigger picture and we may only be getting a small piece of the puzzle. It is not our job to enlighten everyone and share everything we pick up to perfect strangers on the street. This is often the case though with people who have awakened to their intuitive gift and have not been mentored in how to use it in a way which honors all involved. The first impulse is Creator would not give me this gift if he/she didn’t want me to share it with everyone. Hey you person I have never meant before did you know your husband is having an affair? Oops sorry I didn’t meant to break up a home shatter a family and send your children into therapy.

Intuitiveness is a gift but it is also a tool that is used to create and yet has the capacity to hurt as well. Psychic Gossip the sharing of information which has been picked up by easedropping in someone’s energy is a very dangerous practice. So please if you are developing your intuitive gifts recognize the ethical responsibilities that come with it. Be aware people’s lives are not personal playgrounds and every word is a ripple that creates consequences which may be felt long after. Know that you are human being intuitive does not rid you of ego in fact it highlights it. In is very easy to get caught up in wanting the light to shine on you rather than through you. Find a mentor build a foundation of ethical practices and know it is a gift that needs to be unwrapped slowly with great care and awareness.

Come on step out of the closet you know you want too!

Lately I have found a lot of people are coming out of the spooky closet all they needed was a little encouragement. Most people are reluctant to air their spiritual experiences in public lets face it although the sixth sense was popular saying out loud “I see dead people” really isn’t a conversation starter.

There are a lot of people hiding their paranormal experiences out of fear of being judged and hey I hear you I have people throwing hail mary’s and garlic in my direction when it becomes know I am a Psychic/Medium.

But I would dare to say 90% of the population have had some sort of paranormal or spiritual experience and have either chosen to ignore it or find some logical explanation which gives them comfort. So many people start with the line “I would not want anyone to know but….” It just isn’t something ones shares unless some one else has shared first and it feels ’safe’.

Often it is with a big sigh of relief people confess their paranormal sins at last some one who understands and is not going to laugh at them. The unknown is always going to scare people that is why we have such ignorance in the world because people fear what they do not understand. So please step out of the closet share your experiences and you might be surprised who pipes up with “You too!!!”

The sad truth is no matter who you are a Psychic the Dalia Lama the Pope you will not be able to change the behavior of someone unless they themselves acknowledge they have a problem to begin with.

With any addict there is the ability to construct a series of elborate lies which support the illusion it is not me it is them. Picking up on someone who believes their own lies is difficult because basically their reality is based on the illusion. For them it is real it has to be otherwise they would have to face their core truths.

A lot of people come to me with the mistaken belief they can create change in someone else it is not possible free will and independent thought give the power of determination over to the person in question. You can change how you deal with the behavior of that person you can create healthy boundaries you can create change in your own life and maybe this will lead to the other person creating change in theirs but that is out of your hands. Maybe by changing the dynamics of the relationship you can allow others to see how their behavior effects you or you can shift from an enabling position to an empowering one. But ultimately the power to change resides with the addict or person in question.

But here is the important bit you cannot stop you life because someone else has chosen to be miserable in theirs. You cannot stop being who you are because someone else has forgotten who they are. You can support encourage and love but the walk towards health is one that must be taken alone.

It is difficult for a parent of a drug addict to shut the door it is difficult for a partner of an alcoholic to walk out the door it is difficult for the children involved in all situations not to soak up the behaviors and form their own version of addictive behavior.

There is no easy answer but there is one thing for certain you cannot live the life of someone else you cannot bring them into self realization you cannot ‘fix’ them you have to practice self care and nurturing you have to understand how your words and actions contribute to the behavior and you have to understand addiction is an illness. You have to be willing to seek helop and accept it.

As a Psychic I hand out words everyday designed to help people create change in their lives but the words only have power if the person is ready to hear them and act upon them if they are caught up in illusions and only want to hear what they want to hear the words will drift away in the wind. Because I don’t hold the power of creation you do and this is what you have to keep in mind when you think someone could be more or have more the only thing you can change is your own words and actions.

I love the writing of Ursula Roberts the famous english medium and wanted to share a little about what she says about cherished ideas

“If you think you have reached detachmet on this plane of ideas test it by answering these questions
1. are you influenced by the opinions of other people?
2. does it worry you that others disapprove of what you say?
3. does it hurt your feelings to hear other people criticizing your ideas?
4. do you get angry and excited in the midst of an argument?
5. are you worried if you cannot convince other people that yours ideas are right?
6. does it matter to you if people refuse to see the truth as you see it?

The answer to all these questions is no but probability is that you will have to answer yes which shows you are still attached to your ideas. If you have truthfully answered no it reveals you have attained detachment and you will understand all I have to say when I write peace that passes understanding because it is a peace over and beyond the understanding of the ordinary mind which deals only with things and ideas whereas peace is of the spirit.”

And the practical aid she gives for this is to learn to do something you have never done before either physically or mentally for such exercices of learning enlerge your consciousness and give you a new view of your own self and your own ideas and maybe release some talent in yourself you are unaware of.

Just remember Ursula wrote these things long before the power of now came out and Wayne Dwyer became a guru. It is hard to get hold of her books I was lucky to be given a very old copy from a friend. But if you can find a book of hers she is well worth reading I am not going to add anything because I think her words deserve to sit by themselves.

I often look up other psychics to check out prices what they are doing offering and the other day I came across a ‘hollywood’ psychic charging $800 for a 15 minute reading. I may be a tad cynical but I can tell you for that money she had better be producing a miracle a minute. Sounds like a fast food meal to me you get all excited about having it it lasts a short time then the novelty wears off when the indigestion kicks in and you wonder why you didn’t eat in instead.

There is no way I could justify charging that amount for such a short time span and no way I can see anyone no matter how ‘gifted’ they are changing your life in a meaningful lasting way in 15 minutes.

Okay so I am being a little judgmental and cynical but it is hard not to be when I know a little old woman reading tea leafs at the flea markets charging $15 and giving as much information as this so called ‘hollywood’ psychic. I am all for earning a living and creating abundance for yourself we all have bills to pay but I am and not convinced charging $800 for a 15 minute reading is a value for money special.

But here is the irony people will pay it because as a society we believe expensive equates to quality and inexpensive means cheap and nasty. Those who charge more are considered to be experts those who charge less rip off artists. I see it over and over again at psychic fairs those who do not charge large amounts are left with empty chairs and those who charge outragious amounts have long line ups.

It is such a tricky thing because experience is also not a good indicator of the gifts a psychic possesses some psychics having been around for may years start letting ego slip into their reading. Anyway I suppose my point being don’t let marketing suck you in to a decision you may later regret find someone who resonates with you who you feel drawn too follow the rules of always bringing someone with you always leaving if you start to feel unsafe and always asking questions before hand. Don’t discount the local tea leaf reading at the flea markets or rush into a reading with the person whose flashing advertising caught your eye. Take your time use your own intuition to know what feels right for you and if it is the hollywood psychic that charges $800 for 15 minutes then only you will know I am not saying don’t go but rather take a step back and a breathe before rushing in.

I have a great respect for Tarot readers I have no idea how to read cards that’s not my gift and I know a lot of intuitive readers however I take offense at someone buying a pack of Tarot or Angel cards and going around calling themself a Psychic.

Bottom line is anyone can buy a packet of cards memorize the meanings and come across sounding like they know what they are talking about. The cards are only a tool nothing more the gift is not in the cards but the person reading them. Call me strange and people often do but to me a psychic is someone who can stand in front of you and without any props or prompting go this is what messages they are receiving for you.

If you are a tarot card reader that is what your business card should say being a psychic doesn’t make me better than a Tarot card reader it simply means I have a different gift to use. But I take offense at people misrepresenting who they are and what they do.

And while I am on a vent which could be menopausal but that’s a different topic for another day….I get a little upset with people who think just because they have a gift of intuitiveness suddenly they are the Big Kahuna.

Everyone has to learn their craft no matter who you are there is a period of apprenticeship. A lot of people beginning their journey have a mistaken belief it is their job to share everything they receive or ‘fix’ everyone in their pathway. Then all of a sudden their ego starts stepping in and they start projecting their own stuff into the reading. A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing you have to learn about ethics about what is your job what isn’t when to speak when not to speak there are so many different things to learn to keep you safe and the person you are reading safe.

Most of the time people come to me because they are looking for something to hold onto just like the drowning man looks for something that might lift him up from where he is. They are looking for hope sometimes answers and quick fixes sometimes someone to listen and hear them.

And just as there are many different reasons people go to psychics there are equally many different types of people seeking answers.

That is the thing doesn’t matter what your race gender age sexuality or social position the questions and needs are the same. Rich people need reassurance they are loved as much as poor people. Gay people need to know the future holds hope as much as straight people. Asians want peace of mind as much as Native people White people and all colors in between. Issues of the human heart and soul know no boundaries. Everything is about what we hold within not what we look like on the outside.

I have read for many different types of people from all over the world and I can guarentee you their hopes fears and dreams are very much like yours. I suppose I have gone off on one of my gemini tangents here :o) I am not sure I have a point anymore other than to say some one some where knows exactly what you are going through because they are going through it as well.

On a totally different tangent here are a few ‘things’ I have read or heard over the years

Saying the Lord’s prayer aligns your chakra’s honestly I did read that somewhere

Washing in salt water is the best way to cleanse and I have heard people recommend to cancer patients a good swim in the ocean everyday

Spirit can come back and get you….think about this one logically if this was possible do you not think those 8000 people or so that died in the twin towers would have strung the terrorists involved up by now?

Psychics can read minds actually we read energy entirely different thing and from a personal standpoint I have enough $%%##$ in my own head without adding some one else’s to it

there are a million other theories and so called facts out there I try things if they work I don’t analyse why because the power of belief is an amazing thing as long as I am believing they work then chances are they will that’s gemini logic for you

anyway to all the parents out there be vigilant checking your children’s candy haul before they start eating it after Halloween as much as I believe in the goodness of the human heart it is always better to play safe.
