Information about data formats

Some of us do not know much about data formats. I myself is not a guru about different data formats and do not know really much about particular software to use to open certain file extensions. By reading through file-types.com I found the writer’s blog very helpful. I kind of know what is widget but did not fully know the full use to it until now after I read the blog post. Have you heard about Konfabulator before? Before I continue reading I asked myself the same thing since I have not heard about this word and really do not know its purpose. What is Konfabulator? According to the blog writer some of its use runs some files on its own such as the “Opera Widgets”. The writer also mention other engines that uses this to run a file which includes Kapsules, Stardock DesktopX, and Avedesk. More interesting part after a user install the program this enables the program to function the user’s desktop. The other option to download the program is through yahoo, the user has to turn on his ‘dock’ that manages the files on a user’s desktop. Kitty Assistant

While I am typing my post my little kitty is also very busy assisting me. He is in my side right now watching what I am doing. He is staring at my computer screen and probably wondering what I am typing. He is very cute to look at next to me with his curious eyes and ears.

Nintendo - Gaming at home or on the move

Since I started being a part of the high tech world I became a big fan of Nintendo. There are so many variety of Nintendo DS games for different age group to choose from. Of course I bought the games that I enjoyed playing while I am at the cafeteria on break from my class or I am in the air plane. I enjoyed playing brain age for Nintendo DS, I also like Sudoku these are one of many games that I like and not to forget Mario. Who does not like Mario right? Last Christmas of 2007 my husband’s request from me as his Christmas present was Nintendo Wii and because this is very popular and they only released limited quantity I was having a bit of a hard time looking for one on-line that is not way too expensive thankfully I found one over the Internet. A few months back a friend told me that I have got to try Wii Fit and she guaranteed that I am going to love it. I am thinking to buy one for my husband’s Christmas present next month. Before I do buy my Nintendo games and the wii fit. I am going to do price comparison first to get a very good price.

Presidential Election 2008

Around 2:15PM PST I had my chance to vote. This is my very first time to vote and I am very proud to let you know. I became a US citizen last August 8, 2008 and later I registered to vote for Presidential Election.

Since I lived in San Diego in Judicial Drive during my registration the Polling location I voted is located in:

The polling place was painless. There was no long line, there's not that many people. The only situation I have encountered during my vote which it wasn't major. One of the Preposition instead I mark No I accidentally mark Yes. Well there was a mistake on my cheat sheet. So I asked for a ballot replacement and the first one will go to the spoiled box. This volunteer old man just jump all over me when I asked for a replacement ballot because I made a mistake in one of the California Preposition. He told me that you are only allowed to get a ballot replacement once and that's your only chance and if you make a mistake again after this we don't give you any more ballot.

Well, first of all people make mistake and it doesn't say that you are only allowed to make mistake once. The only sign they have said, when you make a mistake asked for a ballot replacement and don't try to correct them. Second, it doesn't say that you are only allowed to make a mistake once. They should make their sign more clear. So, I told the man, 'Do you need people to vote or not? Because as what you're treating me you don't want me to vote because I asked for a ballot replacement. I can walk out here and you can keep my spoiled ballot. People make mistakes and it doesn't say anything on the sign that you are only restricted to make a mistake once.'

Overall, my vote was successful.

Finish Sanding

We have drywall spots in our ceiling that needs to be sanded to make it look smoother. My husband finally finish the sanding today and in the afternoon the ceiling is ready to go for painting. Hopefully we both not feel too lazy to paint. If not we are going to paint the ceiling tomorrow for sure.
