I guess I wasn’t as naughty as I thought I was. Because Santa has come early with the perfect present for this bitter little queer. The misery and heart ache of an ex! That’s right ladies, I’m talking about the misfortunes of my ex Scotty.
So after ripping my heart out, during my moment of need, karma has caught up with him at long last. I have friends that like to inform me of all of his fabulous hardships.
On November 15th at 1:30 pm, people will be gathering at courthouses, town/city halls and campus lawns to stand against hate. They will be cheering “NO! On Prop 8″.
On November 4th we won a major victory. Senator Barack Obama became President Elect Obama. But we also got hit hard by four anti-gay ballot measures that have made GLBTers 2nd class citizens, again.
On Sunday November 9th, while the California GLBT community was marching and protesting the passage of Prop 8, a fighter and hero for the GLBT community had died. Hank Wilson, an activist since the early 70’s, has passed.
Wilson is known as a champion for the GLBT community, for people with HIV/AIDS, and a thorn in establishments sides. He dedicated his life to preventing the spread of AIDS.
So it’s that time of year again. Hallo-Fraking-Ween!! My fav holiday of them all. This year, to mark my full recovery from certain death, I’m putting on a Huge Mega Fabu-tastic Halloween Costume Contest!! BuyCostumes has teamed up with me for this spectacle of wonderment. They’ve put up $500 CASH for the best user submitted Halloween costume.
That’s right boys and girls…the big bad wolf is back on the net. Sorry, for leaving you all in the dark. But man was it a rough couple of months. My surgeries didn’t go as planned…So I was in and out of the hospital, or drugged out of my mind, for the past 4 months.
But that’s all behind me now. I’m feeling better with a sunny outlook on life… Isn’t that wonderful? Ok, maybe not a sunny outlook, but at least I don’t hurt as much and can now EAT WHAT EVER I WANT!!! Thank you God. I’m still just as bitter, jaded, spiteful, and vulgar as ever.
I know…it’s been 14 days since I was supposed to announce the winners of the Costume Contest. It’s been a rough few days. With the election, the first African-American being elected President, California’s Prop8, the 3 other anti-gay ballot measures and being the sole organizer for Bloomington Indiana’s response to Prop8. Marking Connecticut as the third state to recognize their State Constitution mandates treating citizens equally, regardless of sexual orientation, when seeking the same rights and privileges of marriage. Massachusetts and California are the first and second, respectively.
