Yesterday 8TV is having their 5th Anniversary pre-celebration in MingTian, Taman Megah. Yesterday also the night market in Taman Megah, so it makes the traffic almost dead.

We reached there around 7:30pm, and we saw all the 8TV hosts are standing in the stage having some funs. A couple of minute later, they start celebrating the anniversary by singing birthday song. I had recorded it as below.

After the birthday song, they having drinking session then distributing the birthday cake to their top management and their staff. And the last session was giving out their station red pockets to people. A lot of people run into the stage there to get it.

I am hungry, so I walked around the stall and get some foods and drinks. Mummy passed me food coupon and drinks coupon. Drinks have to go to the counter there to collect, my time only have orange juice with some jelly inside. Food coupon is RM4.00 per coupon. If the food cost RM4.50, then I have to top up RM0.50. I ordered sting ray, the fin part and it cost RM16.00. I ordered fried chicken rice (whole drum stick with an egg) and this cost RM5.50, ordered ABC for my mum and this cost RM3.60 and lastly ordered fried kuay teow for my mum and this cost RM4.00. Almost RM40.00, but I only pay RM5.10, the rest used coupon.

After finished the meal, we went to the night market. Mummy bought few shirts to Carmen and I bought Little Einstein’s DVD for Carmen. I noticed she love this show a lot. There is live show in front of us. It not singing live show, but is selling some Chinese medicine. We saw snakes. I told Carmen that is snake and I told her don’t ever touch a snake when you see it. We must give the message of how dangerous a snake is to our children, if not they won’t know and won’t bother it.

This is our first time to this night market. Maybe we are too tired. We didn’t walk all of it. We saw a lot of people selling Chinese New Year snacks. I went to check on the price and I can confirm that my mum snack is the cheapest. We went home after doing the survey.

Since Chinese New Year is coming soon and I am on leave, so I take this opportunity to clear out some rubbish. Guess what I found? I found my primary school autograph book. Feel funny when reading the words inside the book. Mostly wrote friendship forever. How many primary schoolmates you still keep in touch with? I only keep in touch with 2 or 3 of them. This shows that I only have 2 or 3 primary best friends. I think most of them have shifted, because I did try to dial some of the number there and it does not go through.

I still remember our number of person who attends the gathering is getting lesser and lesser. Maybe is because most of them are busy with their work or timing not right or totally lost contact. So I think my social network is getting smaller and smaller. I think if I live in older Chinese generation, jungle or mountain will be the place I stay, freedom.

Packed out some of Carmen old cloths and put behind the car, so next time can donate to templar. Packed out some of Carmen spoilt toys and put a side, wait for the dustcart to collect on Tuesday. Fix the wall clock, stick the calendar to the wall, did some small changes to the house. Try to make the fengshui better. Do you believe on fengshui? I did believe on fengshui but not 100% follow. Today already is the 3rd day of 2009, how’s life?

Today I heard something about my family. My elder mum will stay with my second brother starting next week onwards. The reason to move out is to take care of his daughter because his mother in law is moving to her second daughter house to take care of her new born baby. Is permanently move out or temporarily? I am not sure about it. there is another version I heard about it is because my eldest brother always scold her so maybe my second brother use this opportunity as an excuse to move her out. That’s why I said I am not sure is permanent or temporarily.

Not only that, I heard about my third sister might also move out. She is not happy with the block she is staying, because previously my eldest brother was staying together with her in upstairs. Now he had moved down but his stuff still in upstairs, taking out the space. My sister prefer he move down all his staff and she is happy to buy new furniture to decorate, at least her friend visit her got place for them to sit, not like now, so messy.

So this is mean that we all only will meet up once/twice a week? Just wait and see what the status is.

2008 just passed and today is the first day of 2009. Chapter 2008 ended, and we have to start another new chapter in our life. I will concern on my new chapter, will it be better or worse? 2008 for me is a bad year, no matter how bad it is, I already went through, 2009 will be another long way for me to walk.

I am really worried if it is another difficult year for me, mentally I don’t think I can handle it. Maybe you think I am weak, but do you know that is very difficult to face alone? 2008 really a bad year for me, until now I have not recover from it. Every month have to worry on spending single cents. Can’t save on Carmen milk, so have to save from my daily expenses. I did have ‘nasi lemak’ for a couple of months as my lunch. I understand that saving these few dollars won’t really help much. The right way is to have more income. Part time job is the one I am looking at. Previously I wrote some article to earn some money, but it does not really help a lot. I think I need to find other part time job. I did search on internet, but I didn’t manage to find any. If you have any part time job that is really work, please let me know. Your help is really appreciated. Chinese New Year is coming soon, I really need some extra money for my family.
