Holiday is over

Posted by admin on Jan 5, 2009 in Family day, Fathers Day, Ozlife, activities, oz place, photos, xmas message

We had enough with our long holidays. Hubby were on leave for two weeks and we got plenty of time to tour around Melbourne. Not really a tour, but we went to the interesting places that we haven’t been yet considering our kids to enjoy wherever we go. We had fun indeed starting Christmas Eve and after New Year Celebration.
As usual we celebrated Christmas just the five of us. Eating the traditional Noche Buena, we supposed to have visitors but sadly they didn’t made it due to their very hectic schedule of work. So it’s us again.
Dec.24- We went to Victoria Market and shop for food for our Christmas Celebration. We had lunch at Mcdonalds and grab those happy meal with Madagascar characters.
Noche Buena
Dec 25-That was our food last Christmas. We didn’t have a family picture because we’re not complete, our little one was asleep. During the day, we went to Church and stay home after since it was a quite freezing day.
Five gifts from Santa for each of us!
Santa give gifts each one of us. Thanks Santa! We were all happy with what we’ve got.
Dec.26-Boxing Day. Supposed to be shopping day but we ignore it. We went to St.Kilda Beach and Luna Park. Oh yes! We really had fun swimming and fun riding!
St Kilda Beach

Arabian Merry Ride
Dec.27-checking on malls if there still some left with the clearance sale lol!
Dec.28- We went to Albert Park and Lake. Just having fun walking although it was tiring. Geese watching, greeny views on the side and blue water on the lake. Oh I’m so tired walking that made my legs numb during the night. It was just nothing with the kids. They really don’t get tired!
Albert Park and Lake

Dec.29 - we just went to the nearby park that we haven’t been yet and let the kids play. Checking also the nearby outdoor pool if it’s good to spend some time there.
Dec.30 - Me and hubby went to Victoria Market again. Asking where we left our little boys? That’s none of your business hehe.
Dec.31- New Year’s Eve- We watched family fireworks in the city at 9:10 PM. It was so horribly crowded. We just glad we got back home safe and complete. In the afternoon before we watched fireworks, we got visitors, my friend Natasha and her two kids. They had lunch at our house and we had fun singing-along. She loves to sing and I got Magic Sing. Perfect! Kids we having fun playing with their computers, Wii, etc.

Jan.2 - We went to Albert Park again but our target is not the Park and Lake but the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. An indoor waves pool, long slide, hydrotherapy pool, cinema in the outdoor pool. So cool. We had fun swimming again..

Jan-3 - Kids were picked by a friend to play with her son at their home and then come back after three hours and picked me up with my youngest to play in the park not too far from our place. It’s nice to have lots of good friends that really wanted to see us most of the time.
Jan-4 - Church Time. Lunch at our Fave Asian Restaurant in the City. I’m happy to see by another lovely mommy friend Orit late in the afternoon. We just had a short chat in the park after our kids got time to play.
Today - 5hours ago, we were picked up by Natasha with her kids and they take us to the nearby beach. I’m not in the mood to swim because it’s too windy although it was a lovely sunny day. We just watched our kids playing in the sand while we’re lying and sunbathing. I’m trying to get a Tan skin but not too much. For the summer you know. Hubby started to go back to work and went home early today and cooked our dinner as he always does. At the moment, kids are asleep and tired. I will sleep after posting this. Tomorrow will be another busy Mommy day for me and back to normal maybe while school year 2009 is not started yet. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 everyone!!!

I’ll be busy with my kids

Posted by admin on Dec 22, 2008 in parenting

Yes guys! I’ll be busy with my kids starting today. This is the first day of no school day. As what I’ve mentioned with my previous post, school year 2008 is over and kids are on holiday for more than a month. I have three kids to entertain everyday. All boys, all loves to play and energetic. We’re just lucky we lived with a nearby park. As usual park every day if the weather is fine. Just like this morning. We played soccer and maybe this afternoon again. I don’t want to make their holidays boring. Oh yeah, how nice if there’s school because I can take a break on them lol.
As you all observed, I’m not so active lately. That’s due to laziness, colds and cough also. Sorry entrecard droppers. I’ll try my best to drop back but, can’t promise to be consistent.
Kindly visit my new Photography Blog.

Officially one year living in Oz

Posted by admin on Dec 20, 2008 in Ozlife

Today our Australian life turn one year. How fast isn’t it? It seem just just like yesterday. Imagining my three months here was some kinda adjusting, homesick, emotional and the worst I felt going back home. It’s only my feelings anyway because my kids was just like nothing to them and the Dad as well. Hubby used to came here in Australia for six years because of his work projects, that’s why things were not new to him. The kids were challenge to met new foreign friends and talk with the language every day. Our first day was horrible. You know why? Because we arrived with no luggage. It was left at NAIA, Manila Philippines due to the inefficient job of the crew of PAL. We waited 2 nights before we got it. We celebrated Christmas last year in a different way. Lack of preparation and no gifts for the kids from Santa because Santa knew we’re so busy with so many things and he knew we just moved in.
I also don’t forget seeing my Mom waving her hands at us while we’re leaving and can’t help but cried. My first time being away from my Mom this far was hard as she’s always at my side. I cried almost everyday especially when hubby started to work and was left with my kids. As the day goes by things were turning well. I was used with the place, overcome my homesickness. I met new wonderful friends when my kids started to go to school. Met some Filipinos although just few of them. We’re blessed. God is always with us we and thank HIM everyday for all the blessings and everything. He’s the source of our total supply.

Last Day of School Year 2008

Posted by admin on Dec 19, 2008 in activities, kids at school, school

Today is the last day of school and the kids was dismissed early in the afternoon. Oh gosh, next year I’m going to have a grade1 and grade3 students. I can’t believe I reached this far but thanks God. I know there’s a lot more to go. Since last Monday, school final activities were non-stop. Monday was my son in grade2 excursion to Melbourne Aquarium. Tuesday was the Carols night. Wednesday was the sports carnival and yesterday was morning tea and kids classroom party. It was a whole lot of preparation. Distributing greeting cards, sending gifts to my loves one back in the Philippines. Hubby’s office lunch meeting, little boy to look after. I was tired and exhausted plus the fact that I’m not feeling so well because of colds. Stuffy nose, cold and rainy weather, headaches and the pressures. I’m not complaining anyway. I love being busy offline and I love some socializing. Talking, chitchatting with my new friends and some parents. I’m so happy I got very nice friends at school and I’m satisfied with what the school has to offer for my children. No doubts, I will be sending them back there next year. We received their school reports and it was good. Their learning and their trying their best. They gain close friends and met wonderful teachers and so do I.

I won a Bratz Doll!

Posted by admin on Dec 16, 2008 in toy hunt

I was really surprise as it was really less expected that I’m gonna win in a contest. Just a while ago I read the comment from JOYD saying “Hey JOYOZ Ive been waiting for you to visit my TOY HUNT site… there is a Surprise waiting for you … Be quick!!!” So I did and I’m having fun watching the video of picking the winners for the toyhunt contest. JoyD’s daughter Bianca was giving me the luck of winning. Oh how I wish I could have a daughter too lol..Oh well, I already had enough with three boys. What will I do with the Bratz dolls since I don’t have a daughter? The answer is simple. Since I am girl obviously then I can keep it for myself isn’t it? This will serve as a remembrance. Thanks JoyD.

Star of the day

Posted by admin on Dec 9, 2008 in kids at school

I never know there’s such thing as star of the day until my son Jarred become one. I asked him how come you become the star of the day and he just said because I am popular and everyone at school knew me. I was like huh? Ahh okay. According to my son, he and the principal of the school were the star of the day. He brought home a notebook or more like a slambook that has messages from his classmates. I was having fun scanning the pages and reading the preps notes to my son. Some were good in writing, some were nearly learning and some cannot be understood or unreadable haha. I choose three of the messages to share here. They’re really cute including the star of the day’s message to himself.

Our fellas decorating the Christmas Tree

Posted by admin on Dec 5, 2008 in Family day, Fathers Day, Ozlife, activities, home, parenting, photos

It’s nice when you see your kids interested in decorating your home and make it more pleasant. They insisted to help us put up our Christmas Tree. They were all boys as you all know and you know it’s rare to boys interested regarding this matters. I’m just happy they do. (influenced maybe by my kakikayan :D ) We’re having fun decorating our tree although Daddy keeps on talking and nagging. Oh well, it’s his nature. What can we do to make him shut up and relax. Always in a hurry, oh man. Seem perfectionist but it won’t work with kids. Kids needs to be handle in a soft and cool way because if you’re not cool you’ll be having a hard time and you’ll die with heart attacked. I hope and pray it won’t happen to Daddy. I’m cool Mum but I also have rule. Don’t provoke me kids, stop getting into my nerve. They will stop after that warning. They even scared to me than their noisy dad. But Dad is so scared when I’m the one will get mad because I will blow his mind. ( di uubra ang kakitiran ng utak niya sakin)
Oh I’m out of topic now lol. My kids photos while decorating our Christmas Tree…

Intencity Arcade Party

Posted by admin on Nov 30, 2008 in Family day, activities, party, photos

A whole 3 hours of fun games and entertainment at Intencity Chadstone. Unlimited arcade games for party attendees. Gosh, I was so tired standing for that long hours. What do you expect in an arcade, no sits unless you want to play in a section that has sits. I’m just having fun watching them and taking pictures with the lovely happy kids at the party. It was the party celebration of my son Jover’s girlfriend according to him girlfriend..duh..! But it’s his classmate anyway. A pretty Indian girl who look likes Hally Berry. I find her really Hally Berry look-alike with her young age. The celebrant name is Dhriti.
The party started at almost 10 am and finished by almost 1 pm. After the party we just roam around the Chadstone Mall and shop for Christmas decorations.
Here are some of the party snapshots…

Talking toys (Toy hunt last entry)

Posted by admin on Nov 29, 2008 in Toys, toy hunt

tow-mater

That is Mater of movie “Cars” a tow mater truck. He’s so funny that’s why my little fellas loves it. He’s lucky that during his 3rd birthday party celebration, he got that gift from Auntie Pearl. If you shake the truck it says “that was faaa…aaa…un” and the more shake you’ll make the further it will run and says “well lets…gooo!”
Thanks JoyD. I’m having fun of your game toy hunting.
