Adobo

I will cook adobo for our dinner tonight. Its been 3 months that i never cook adobo and i really missed having adobo in our dinner table. I can already smell it from here and i am sure Mike would love it. That is one of his favorite Filipino Dishes. Hope it will turn out okay hehe :-)

Pillow Cover

I made a 5 butterfly patch block and until now, i still dont know what to do with it. I already use one of the butterfly patch on one of my baby quilt. The one that i gave to Meleah for her baby shower. The other one i use it for pillow cover. This is my first time to make a pillow cover and it seems like it turns out okay. Well.. maybe i will do the rest for my next quilt. Will see :-)

Another PinWheel Quilt

Since Dustin like the PinWheel Quilt that i made for my baby girl Dana. I decided to make another one for him. I already started the pinwheel last night and he wants me to take a picture of him holding the pin wheel block. I ran out of fabric too, i need to get more fabric this weekend so that i can finish my pin wheel quilt for Dustin. Here is the photo of Dustin holding the pinwheel :-) What a great smile!

Welcome Year 2009!

Welcome Year 2009! Hope that this year will be a good year to all of us. This is one of our luckiest year because we are going to have a baby girl this coming 26th of February. That makes us complete as a family. We are looking forward for our vacation this year! Preparing for Baby Shower...

Tomorrow is the baby shower of one of my friend. I already have the gift ready. This afternoon, i help my friend for the preparation for the baby shower tomorrow. I help decorate and we have fun together. I am looking forward for the baby shower! this is my first time to join baby shower party, so its kind a new for me. So will see about that tomorrow. I will make it sure that i bring my camera because maybe i will forgot again. :-)

Winter Scrapbook

I love scrapbooking! actually i made 2 scrapbook last night the first one is our winter photos and the other one is Dustin holding his first piggy bank. Blue berry Cobbler

I really want to try the recipe of this blue berry cobbler this week. Mike likes it a lot and we just have this last week when one of our brother and sister invite us to have lunch with them. It really taste good and i cant wait to try this recipe. I am planning to get all the ingredients this weekend and hopefully it will turn out good.

Here is the Blue berry cobbler recipe:

1 stick butter
3-4 cups fresh blue berries or frozen
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar

Direction:

Melt the butter in a baking dish. Put blue berries in pan with water and sugar. Leave on burner. Simmer while making crust. Mix the flour, milk and cup of sugar together. Mix well. Pour over blue berries. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with icecream or whip cream. Enjoy!

My Blog Exploration new look...

I just change the layout of my Blog Exploration. Instead of having 3 columns, i end up doing the 2 columns. Why? Well... i dont know, seems like 3 columns not working hehe :-) I always got an error message, i try and try many times but it didn't work so i decided to make the 2 columns. It turns out okay though but hopefully i wont get any problem next time when i make another layout. I am still learning! i need more practice on making layout ;-)
