Let them know Santa is Watching

I know I still have a belly ache from Halloween, however those tricky marketers are already decking the halls. We were walking down Magazine Street the other day and I saw Elf On The Shelf $29.95 in the window of Magic Box Toys. The second I got home I googled it, and I love it. You put the Elf on the shelf (duhhhh) and ..."At our home the elf would arrive around the holidays, usually at Thanksgiving. His sole responsibility was to watch my children's behavior and report it to "Santa" each night. The next morning after the children awoke, they discovered the elf had returned from the "North Pole" (with some parental assistance) and was hiding in a different place. My children would race each other out of bed to try and be the first to spy him in his new position."

5 AM WAKE UP CALL

OK I don't know who invented Daylight Savings Time, but I do not like it. The whole house is up at 5 am. I just escaped to see if I can avoid this drama again tomorrow. I think I might be the proud owner of the Kiddsleep sleep training clock by the end of this week. "As a parent all you need to do is set the clock to the time when you want your child to get up, and show them that when the sleeping picture is lit they should stay in bed. You can get them to play-act sleeping in their bed with the sleeping picture on, and then getting out when the wide-awake picture comes on." I am going to need a nap to make it to 10pm tonight.

Perfect Toddler Shoe

I know that I have posted about Umi shoes before, however every time we wear them I get asked about them. We use to wear the puggle, but it is now sold out. I just found the puzzle it comes in the same chocolate and pink that we adore and the multi colored puzzle. I think the multi colored shoe is such a fun colorful shoe and it goes with every outfit we own!!!They are so perfect for the toddler who is ready to walk outside. They have a soft leather sole with the rubber circles for some traction. I honestly don't know what we are going to do when she moves to a size 6.

So packaging got me again.. I was in Whole Foods the other day looking for yogurt and I stumbled across Lifeway Probugs, drinkable organic kefir snack, and I know you won't believe it but, my kids love kefir. Kefir is kind of like yogurt, but with even more of that good bacteria that stays with them, helps with digestion and wards off various bad stuff. Once you order them they will send you a mold and directions. I think with all the transit time they might take close to a month to get. I think these would make such a special gift.
