Merry is the heart that knows unconditional love. Merry is the soul that flies free of emotional restraint. Merry is the child lost in innocent imaginative play. Merry is the bride on her ever special day.
Merry is my heart when I see my child smile. Merry is my soul when I feel no burden weighing it down. Merry as a child am I when the world is sunny and bright. Merry as a bride am I with a kiss from my groom on my lips alights.
Merry is the world where all know happiness if even for a moment.

Great is the Morning ~ Exquisite Corpse
Thank thee oh dear love
For the greatest you have gave
Little ole’ sweet me.
Great is the morning
When the little birds flutter
So I say a pray’r
for a house so warm
freedom to follow my dreams
enjoying the sun?
It’s the little things
I need to remember when
everything seems lost
I count my blessings, numbering each one that saves me from despair.
When I run out of numbers I start again
And each time I’m led right back to you.
Thank you my mother
You’ve been there like forever
Thus life is better
to breath oxygen
to feel salty waves crashing
life is always grand
Honest reflection
On what I have versus don’t
I’m deeply grateful

100 Words ~ Anger
You’ve hurt me and all around you with your actions, I should be angry with you, filled with rage, but I pity you. I feel sorry for all you missed out in the lives of the people who loved you through every bottle you drowned your memories in. You seek amends now, ask forgiveness, and now I feel the anger more. Why should I forgive you? Why now?
Forgiveness is hard, anger is easy. Without forgiveness we will never know each other, and I do not want anger on the day you walk no more, so I forgive you daddy.

December Blankets by Exquisite Corpse
Thick clouds shake parmesan cheese onto the bareness
gaiety of childhood swells
as frosty men dance in memory.
Crystal flakes falling from above
Fall softly on my warm black leather jacket
Melt to form droplets of water on the heated glass of my windshield
Winter whispers in her ear
tickling the tip of her nose
falling fresh upon her lash, she smiles.
Time frozen within locks of sleighs and cocoa by the fire
Magick of a world covered in virgin lace
To waltz with flakes, eternal on this eve.

Time to get Back the Bug...
Nope not the one that caused everyone in the family to have the stomach flu this week, we gave that bug an eviction notice with a warning to not return any time soon.
No, I need to get back the writing bug, that last bit me at the very start of November and than left me high and bone dry the rest of the month.
I am going to do some research for my works in progress, and then do some more writing on them...
Wanted: One Wife
&
Sisters of the Keep being the current WIPS. My husband says he is going to try something to save my NaNoWriMo 2007 novel out of the old dead computer, wish is heartening, which would give me another WIP to complete.
While I am doing that I am going to start back onto the writing memes that are out there. With that in mind is there still interest in 100 Words????
I apologize for dropping the ball there but life got in the way. I am willing to start that back up again though.
So, keep stopping by, something or other will start appearing around here, hopefully on no less than a weekly basis.

Not a winner...
Of a NaNoWriMo 2008 this year. Life stepped in and I did not even manage to get 1/5th of the word count accomplished. a little bummed, but not about to give up on the story. Plan to take my time now and work on it and polish it all up.
Congrats to all who participated and won.
