- Our country man Manny Pacquiao again gives honor to our country by defeating David Diaz and claiming the WBC lightweight title
- Chicago Bulls pick Derrick Rose first overall in the 2008 NBA draft. My husband says he’s special.
**JULY**
- Chinese restaurants in Beijing are told not to serve dog meat during 2008 Summer Olympics, but can continue to serve Donkey meat…eeeewww
- Pope Benedict XVI arrives in Sydney, Australia for World Youth Day 2008 celebrations.
- The long awaited movie “The Dark Night” was released.
**AUGUST**
- Yuna’s birthday. We toured all of Chicago’s museums.A very fun and tiring day.
- Illinois Senator Barack Obama accepts the nomination of the Democratic Party at the INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, becoming the first African American to be nominated by a major party for election as President of the United States
- 2008 Beijing Olympics. USA = 110 medals. Philippines = 0. Mannn, I was hoping even for ust one bronze medal.
- John McCain picks Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential running mate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. presidential election…Very entertaining.
**SEPTEMBER**
- Yuna’s first day of school. Daddy and Mommy were very sad because they missed their little girl and they didn’t know what else to do while she was in school.
- American actor and film director Paul Newman Dies at the age of 83
**OCTOBER**
- After leading the league in offense, the Chicago Cubs are swept out of the playoffs by the LA Dodgers.
**NOVEMBER**
- Democrat Barack Obama wins the 2008 United States presidential election after beating Republican John McCain, becoming the first African American to be elected to the office of President of the United States
- Lewis Hamilton wins the 2008 Formula One Drivers’ Championship, beating Felipe Massa by one point to become the youngest and first black Formula One World Champion in history…we hate him. Go Felipe and Kimi!Note: Its looks like that month of November is for African-American people
**DECEMBER**
- One of my best Christmas ever. Very simple unyet we were all very happy to be together. Also, Freya’s first Christmas.
- Manny Pacquiao blasts Oscar de la Hoya away…bye bye Golden Boy!
- Filipino actor Marky Cielo dies at the young age of 20

I prepared ready to cook ham. Again, I did not cook plenty of foods kasi naman apat lang kami unlike last year madami pa kami.

We ate at Luvski's work on New year's day. We didn't pay anything from our bill except for the 30 bucks tip we left for the server.

Manigong bagong taon sa lahat ng blogmates ko at sa buong mundo. Pati narin sa mga malapit na kaibigan ko online alam nyo na kung sino sino kayo. Salamat for sharing the friendship kahit na hindi pa tayo nagkikita sa totoong buhay.
Sa mga ka-berks ko sa Davao alam ko pinupuntahan nyo at binabasa blog ko kaya minsan nahihiya na ako magpost dito hihihihi. Salamat kaayu kay hangtud karon kaibigang tunay parin ang turingan natin. Hulata lang ang akong present para sa mga inaanak nako ha mga ka-berks isabay nako na sya pag naghulog nako para sa package ni buta. Unta maskig mga dato namo diha sa Davao managad gihapon ha kay matud pa ni buta kung dili managad panglaparuhon gyud lol. I-uban na pud nako sa pagbati ang akong pamilya na naa didto sa davao nagpuyo. Miss u all guys. lab u all mwahhh!
Ito naman po ang lahok para sa Litratong Pinoy na ang tema ay 2009 na!. Ang litratong ito kuha nong nakaraang bagong taon naman. Grabe noh ang bilis talaga ng panahon kelan ko lang din pinost ito dati. Ayun, ito ang pinili kong i-lahok kasi karamihan sa atin at sa buong mundo ganito ang itsura ng mga mesa nila. Punong puno ng ibat ibang klase ng pagkain. Yung iba naman sa ating mga pinoy may lechon pa sa gitna ng mesa hehehe.
Ayun lang maligayang bagong taon sa lahat ng ka-LP ko!

Bagong taon nong nakaraang taon hehehe nakakalito ba?
