Looking at the Sky on Friday

With all the wires and clutter of the 21st century, the sky still looks beautiful!

Tisha of Crazy Working Mom is the host of this meme. Go on over and take a look at her post and see who else is participating.

It is one of the most beautiful compensations in life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself!

50-cent interview

Slate V offers this interesting, feel-good interview I thought was certainly worth watching:

Doesn't the interviewer look like Truman Capote? Ha!

Ruby Tuesday players - Which Gemstone Are You?

~Don't Forget to check out Monochrome Monday on Wednesday below~

Gemma of "Greyscale Territory" scored at "Which Gemstone Are You?" as a RUBY! When I took the test I scored Topaz even though I really, really tried to be a Ruby. I mean after all I AM the Ruby Tuesday facilitator...

So I'm pretending I scored RUBY and here's what it means to be a Ruby type:

Ruby, resembling love, wealth, wisdom and purity. Ruby-types tend to think with their heart and not their heads, sometimes resulting in wild decisions, but constantly following love and romance. Ruby-types also tend to have a fair judgment and sweet and good feelings for many things.

I think ALL the Ruby Tuesday participants are just like Rubies, don't you?

So "Which Mystic Gemstone are You?" Give it a try!

Signs weren't hard to find, were they? I found a lot of signs with RED in them. RED is probably a really good color to attract the attention of potential buyers.

Shall we do signs again next week or shall we just post RED things?

Or how would you like to post MACRO shots with RED in them? I like that idea. But I'll leave it up to you...

Don't forget to visit our other Ruby Tuesday participants. And please sign Mr. Linky.

Manic Monday - Tell Mo Not to Do It!

Mo's word for Manic Monday is SALE.

He's offering for sale his Manic Monday meme. Here's what he says:

"...my Manic Monday meme and this website (www.ManicMeme.com) are up for sale. I hope to pass the reins on to someone who has a passion for the meme. Right now, in my life, I am pulled in too many directions to focus on this weekly meme the way it deserves.
Bids start at $50.00 and can be made via e-mail (Morgen1967 at gmail dot com). Any bid placed in a comment here will be deleted."

Is he pulling our leg? Does he mean to sell this meme? Send a comment along to him and tell him how you feel. Tell him you want him to continue Manic Monday, a tradition that has graced the blogosphere for a long time with him at the helm. As Mags says "he's brought so many people together!"

Tell him how important he is to us and that the Manic Monday meme is so well-known and interestingly diverse. What would Monday be like without Mo and his meme? I don't want to think about it!

Harriet is the host of Shadow Shot Sunday, a wonderful meme that I love participating in!

Here are my Shadow Shots for this Sunday:

On a very sunny day recently (sunny days have been rare) these 3 shadows graced my bedroom and guest bedroom. I see them as 3 in a series, similar but different.

Men do change, and change comes like a little wind that ruffles the curtains at dawn, and it comes like the stealthy perfume of wildflowers hidden in the grass.~John Steinbeck
