Saturday November 29th I'll be a vendor at yet another craft show in Toronto. If you're looking for that unique one of a kind holiday gift or your looking for a way to treat yourself, come check us out!!


It'll be held at Trinity St. Paul's Centre at 427 Bloor West from 1-6. Plus (if you can't read off the poster) the first 20 visitors will receive a goodie bag with a little something something from each vendor :)

Not For The Faint Of Heart

This next post was sparked by convo I received from outofthepinksky who recently introduced me to a quite bizarre site. I immediately fell in love with this restaurant called Hospitalis located in Riga, Latvia.

Its a place where your servers are hot alternative lady nurses that strongly resemble the nurse from this NoFX cd cover.

The meal above makes me want to vomit but how fucking rad is that disgusting gravy puddled plate?! and are those utensils or just decoration...

The decor is just as alluring. It has a "your stuck here whether you like it or not" quality about it. I wonder if it has that hospital smell too.

and WHOA! you enter this bathroom sloshed and you'll probably never find your way out again.

Clearly Hospitalis has the potential to push you off the edge and if your afraid of hospitals it may not be a good idea to make reservations any time soon... or ever. On the other hand, if you've been looking for something fucked up to do in the new year this could be it. I'm adding it to my own restaurant to-do list right after Alinea. I'll let you know how she goes!

HOT dog!

Duuuuuuude! I had no idea this giveaway would have attracted this much attention. My goal for the entire 16 days was to shoot for 123 comments. So far all you's have doubled that number and there's still 9 days left!! I'm so incredibly flattered. New for November!

With all the busy-ness and goings on in September I didn't get around to changing my featured seller. Not good!, I know. Hopefully the next time that happens it'll be because I've given up on this blogging thing and not due to my own suckiness.

Anatomy with a touch of Vintage

His name is Christopher Elsasser and he runs his Etsy shop under the name munstre (pronounced Mun-stir). Most of his work is inspired by anatomy which, if you've ever visited my own Etsy shop, you'd know I've got a slight obsession with :)

Since starting in February 2008, Chris has already been featured in a couple gallery's, shops and even Juxtapoz Magazine.

You can also keep an eye out for his art in the upcoming Bruce Willis flick entitled "The Surrogates" ... I'd say hes doing very well for himself.

Hooray for Face Paint!

I've been on the hunt and I will admit that its difficult to find the right shade of eye shadow for the right price. I like em bright and able to withstand a late night of whatever-ness. If your like me then it looks like there's hope for us lot.

While creeping in the forums I heard nothing but good things about coffincolor, so naturally I took a peek... The verdict? I'm very impressed with their price, shades and sense of humor! They have a range of colours with names like "Trailer Park Blue", "MMM... Brains!!" and "Gold Toof". Also as an added bonus they've included some very gorgeous, suicide girl-like ladies sporting their product.
