Although it may be useful to avoid stepping in things, regularly looking down actually affects our mood. When we look down, we are in a defensive orientation that reinforces a feeling that bad things are likely to happen.
If you want to open a spot you have to start a race against your competitors and the elements. It is a matter of looking out and looking up. You never stop watching because you never know when the crucial moment will come.

Embracing the Challenge
There are many things we wish to do- from changing a tire to changing our lives but we avoid these things because we are afraid to fail. We fear the direct evidence of our weakness, so we don't even bother to try. But you are stronger and more capable that can possibly know. Anyone else might have folded, lost everything. But you can always find a strenght to keep on going by being rational, even in the face of daunting challenges.

Friends In a Relationship
You should try to form some relationship friends- other couples with some common interests who can interact as a couple with you and your partner. Relationship friends ground us in the importance of our relationship and give us a fun and healthy outlet of activities built around other people but that include our partner.
We need to have some people in our lives who don't react first and foremost to our relationship, but want to be our friends, as we are together. It's sad when people's roles in our lives are reduced, but we can't let anyone undermine our lives.

Real Person Award
This is flattering indeed, Fem! True, it ain't easy to find a real person especially here in the virtual world. But have you ever believe on a woman's instinct?... I do! Although it may fail at times but it had already proven its natural drive on me on several occasions. Thank you for choosing me as one of the recipients of this award Nancy...

Reach Your Goal
Goals have to involve with you. They should be neither absurdly out of reach nor easily within reach. In either case, your motivation will be stalled by the uselessness of your goals. Instead, keep your goals far enough away that you need to keep trying, but close enough that you can someday reach them.
More than seven out of ten Olympic athletes who won gold actually felt that their victory hurt their motivation for future training and weakened their ability to compare to compete. (Jackson, Mayocchi, and Dover 1998)

Thought That Won't Make You Sleep
If you let your thoughts shoot around from one subject to another as you try to go to sleep, you can create an almost endless catalog of problems. With all these problems, you'll as yourself, how can I possible sleep? Tonight, as you are brushing your teeth or preparing for bed, come up with something you'd like to think about when you slip under the covers. If other thoughts start to intrude, guide yourself back to the opriginal subject.
Imagine that you put your head down and try to sleep. You think about how much junk mail you get each day. Not only does it waste time, it also create grabage. There's so much garbage. How can people throw out so much stuff? They say that the landfills are nearly full. Where will the garbage go then? What will the environment be like for the next generation? Will the earth survive? These are minor annoyance that lead to concerns about the future of the planet. And those concerns race around, causing stress instead of relaxation.
Too many thought, even if they don't lead to such drastic topics as the fate of the earth, are unsettling and make it much harder to sleep. When our thoughts bounce in and out, each idea backed by another, the stream of ideas makes us more on edge, and less ready to close our eyes, shut off our brain for the day and fall blissfully to sleep.
