CHOICES

Everything happens for a reason. The things that are happening in my life now are somehow teaching me to be more patient. I must admit, patience is a virtue that I still struggle with sometimes. Fear is trying to set in almost everytime, trying to get a hold of me, trying to eat up whatever amount of patience I have.

FEAR --- False Evidence Appearing Real (by Joyce Meyer) is an emotion we can choose to feel toward something that hasn't happened yet that'll lead us to wallow in worry. Or we can choose to have FAITH and continue to TRUST in Him who promised that He has our situation well under control. You know, writing this helps me remember that my God is bigger than any of my problems. He's bigger than any of my concerns.

"Father, I stand in your presence once again. I believe that with you nothing is impossible. I know that you're going to make a way when there seems to be no way. Father, more than anyone else, you know what's in my heart. I believe in You. Thank you, Father, for giving me joy and hope. And thank you for giving me the strength to stand on what I'm believing you for even when the enemy is trying his best to control me through fear. I give you back all the glory. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Magnets

When I was in grade school, I had this fascination about magnets. I've always thought of it as magic. I enjoyed playing with it. I would even remove the magnets from my pencil case to play with them. My mom would get really mad because I've destroyed another pencil case. In the end my mom just bought me one with a zipper on it. No more magnets.

Bar Faucets

I had my kitchen faucet replaced three months ago. I had to go to the mall and choose from hundreds of bar faucets available. I chose the cheapest one. Besides, they all have one common goal and that is flush the water out when I need the supply. And since I don't own the place, I just bought the cheapest one but still functions pretty well. And it still does.

JUST BUSY

My schedule the last two weeks have been really crazy. My boss is leaving for Malaysia this week so I hope I'll be more relaxed by then. I just had like an hour free today that's why I was able to post something here. But not enough time to weave my thoughts for a decent post.

I'll see you guys before this week ends. God bless y'all!

AbundaTrade

Do you have used CDs, DVDs or books at home that are just wasting away in your closets or garage? Good news!!! You can now trade your old stuff for new electronics. As the saying goes, "Somebody's trash could be somebody else's treasure." Here's how it works:

First, get all the used CDs, DVDs and books that you want to trade in. Make sure the CDs and DVDs are original and are in almost if not perfect condition. No significant scratches or damage to the label-side of the CD or DVD. Video games are also accepted. Books should not have rips, tears, stains or odors. No writing or highlighting. Pages should be intact.

For each item you trade in, there will be corresponding credits. Credit is based on each item's current online market value. An item that is damaged or have little or no value will be given 0 credit. If an item has a higher market value, it will be given more than 1 credit. Another way to earn credit is to fill out the 10-question survey that is available in AbundaTrade's website.
That'll give you additional 5 credits.

Second, after collating the items you wish to trade in, you can either ship your trade-ins or for local residents of South Carolina you can drop off your trade-ins. The address and procedure are clearly stated in their website.

Once they agree on the trade, they will ship you your brand new electronic!

What a neat idea!
Instead of wasting away valuable stuff, you can trade it in for something that can be more useful to you today. It's a win-win situation. And there are several electronics you can choose from. I also think the system is fair. It's good that AbundaTrade lay out proper guidelines and limits on which is acceptable and which is not.

So what are you waiting for? Go tell your friends about this.
For the 2 friends you refer and completed a trade with them, they'll give you a FREE iPod shuffle or Ultra-Compact DVD Player as a token of their appreciation. Hurry! Don't waste another minute.

Moving Pods

Do you plan on relocating? Worried where you're going to stack your stuff? Moving pods have the answer to your problems.

What's are pods? They are "Portable on Demand Storage." This service is simple. They deliver what looks like the back of a truck to your driveway. You pack it full of your stuff, lock it and they pick it up and move it to your new destination. Then you unlock it and unpack. When you're done unpacking, they come and haul it away. It's secured, convenient with easy loading. You can load your items and store them as long as you need.

So when are you moving?

Fenphedra

Does it always follow that when it's expensive it's effective? How about those vitamins, supplements and medicines that we buy? Does it mean that if it's expensive we can be sure of its effectiveness and safety? Take for instance this supplement claiming to be a “hardcore fat burner.” It's relatively expensive but people say Fenphedra is worth the price because it works. What can you say about that?

HAVE YOU EVER?

Have you ever felt like you're always climbing hills and mountains in your life?
You don't know when the journey will end...
And you're already tired?

Have you ever wanted something so much in your life?
You've done everything you can...
And you're already tired?

Have you ever been confused in your life?
You've searched for answers...
And you're already tired?

Have you ever tried to turn to Him and cried for help?
You've lifted it all to God...
Because you're already tired?

Plain Jade

I have plants at the balcony and they're all looking happy and healthy except for one. My Jade plant looks like it's going to die on me soon. She looks sick with a terminal plant-illness and I couldn't figure out what it is and why.

When this Jade plant was given to me a few months back, it looks healthy. I put some fertilizers in it which I fondly call power pellets. The plant, I believe, loved it. It grew more leaves and it looked more beautiful than ever. But I've noticed changes last week and now it looks dying. Out of desperation, I surf the net on how to save my plant and this is what I found -
Avoid getting water on the leaves (if the leaves get wet during watering, do not immediately place it back in sunlight, the water will act as a magnifying glass and cause burns on the leaves). It must be stressed -- let the soil dry completely before watering.
This plant thrive on neglect. Hmm... I'll do that and see what happens.

Fat Burner

What is the best fat burner you can use to eliminate unwanted bulges and pounds? Exercise! I walk a lot and I do sit ups once in a while, but I have to admit I am so lazy most of the time. But this AirClimber I talked to you about is such an amazing machine and makes exercising so much fun! It does fat burning, total body toning and ab work out, all in one. I definitely got to have one of this!

Keeping Fit My Way

I have something in mind that I want to own which I saw on TV. It's called the Air Climber. It's something that would help me keep fit doing a regular 20-minute exercise routine. It's around 8,000 pesos, roughly 166.00 USD. I think this is much better alternative to lose some unwanted pounds, if ever I get this problem in the future, than take diet pills which the idea itself makes me uncomfortable. I'm not saying No to that idea all together, but I guess it will just take more nudging than usual.

Treasure Chest

Las Vegas NV is one state that I would forever remember. It's where my beloved used to stay with his relatives working. I remember calling him everyday even just to say hi. Those were the days and things have changed since then. Looking forward to having more beautiful days with my beloved when God's perfect time comes. Until then, I will treasure these memories and lock them up in my heart's treasure chest.

ARCHERY TOURNAMENT

Cartoonist's Comment: Jesus is the only person whose arrow has ever hit the target of God's standard of righteousness. If we put our faith in Jesus, God counts our arrow the same as if it were Jesus' arrow.

My Jiggy

I got a gift on my birthday last October. A Silver 4th Generation iPod Nano! I was so happy to have the newest iPod. Wow! What a blessing from God Almighty.

This iPod is a musical genius that finds songs in your iTunes that go great together. It's like having your own personal DJ. Awesome! How about this, shake to shuffle your music. And it also has a high-resolution picture that looks vivid on a 2-inch widescreen display. You can watch movies and videos in it. Genius huh? And the games. You play mazes by tilting and moving. I simply love my iPod Nano.

Oh, by the way, her is name is Jiggy.
