I have been trying so hard to figure out something to get my little brother for Christmas. It wouldn’t be so bad if he didn’t want all of the expensive things in life! Of course the other day he did say he thought it would be cool if we went into a depression, so maybe he doesn’t want anything for Christmas then right? A girl can hope, but I don’t think he thought that comment though, so I have been looking around a lot at what is for sale online and in the stores and I’m not finding a whole lot, so this morning I decided to check my favorite site, buy.com and see if they had anything.

I did find something that may be useful to him and his friends it’s a two way radio for when they head out into the woods behind our home. His friends all have cell phones, but my mom won’t let him have one until he either gets a car and a job or when he’s 18. I think it would be a great gift for him and at the same time it would be something very useful. I am trying very hard this year to get things that are useful to everyone, not just nice frilly stuff. So far I’m doing a good job, we’ll have to see how long that last.

I got onto Myspace today to see of some friends had written me back about a party I’m having in a couple of weeks. They didn’t, but as I was looking over the site I saw this ad that just made me very angry. Myspace is a site mostly for teens and young adults. Even if it wasn’t meant for that, that is what it is. The ad I saw was for some weight loss thing and usually there not horribly when the show the after, but this one was. This one showed a girl that looked anorexic and my first thought was “yes, lets show a bunch of young girls that they need to be anorexic.

Now I don’t know how Myspace does their banner advertising, but I really think they need to rethink showing that one. Girls need to realize that size is not as big of an issue as they think and being healthy no thin is the important thing, but with ad’s like this on the internet that will never happen.

I haven’t gotten out much this past year because of school, but the other day I was thinking about this upcomming summer and things that I could do since I won’t be in school anymore. I was thinking of getting a couple of beach bikes since I live in Michigan and well, we do have beaches.

I looked over a few at Cruiserstyle.com and found a few I liked, but as always I probably will not have the money to buy one. I may just have to rent one somewhere instead. Unless someone want’s to be really nice and buy me one for my Birthday!

My little sister and her boyfriend decided this week to go to Tennessee, I think it’s cool, but now I get to deal with all the pets. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but they don’t all get along. All of them are sacred of our German shepherd, my cat does not get along with the other two cats and the small dog on top of it and the other 2 cats and small dog are attention starved.

So I had all of the pets in my room last night, that means I got no sleep and I have to drive to class today. Maybe I can get lucky and find a place to take a nap! I do know I will be leaveing early today. I don’t want to get stuck in ice and snow if it shows up.

I’m noticeing once again that I have no energy, part of this is because I am stressed and depressed, the other part is because I have gained weight again. I started checking online for the best diet pill but then I decided that maybe that is not what I really need. I need to work for it and have the motivation to work for it.

I know I should do it for me, but I just don’t care enough I think. I don’t know something keeps me from doing well. I figure it’s either I don’t care enough or some other metal problem, like the fact that I always fail so why try! Even though I really haven’t failed at losing weight, since I have not gained all of it back. I’m hoping to have some idea here soon. I need to get some energy back.

I think the auto bail out is both a good and a bad thing, they do need some help and if they don’t get it millions will lose their jobs, not just here but around the world. Yes I know many people think that the auto companies failing is good thing and that they deserve it, but I don’t believe it is totally their fault.

I blame the Unions, Now I’m not anti union, I just don’t like the auto union. One, getting paid $30 or more to push a button is not right, on top of that most of the jobs offered there do not require a collage degree. Now keep in mind when I state that $30 an hour, that does not include benifits and retirement. We will put it this way, my grandfather makes more then my dad does with his GM retirement plan then my step dad does working. Something is wrong with that in my opinion.

Personally I think if there is a bailout plan offered to them it needs to include wage caps for workers for at least the next 20 years and requre that most of the money go to green car research because that is what we need. This of course is just my opinion, what do you think? (be nice)

I know a few people who are having kids, they are due soon so I don’t have to worry about it much, but I always heard them complaining about maternity clothes and not being able to fit into their jeans anymore. Since I have had more then enough of their complaining I wish I had found this really cool site. They sell some cool maternity clothes and another cool item to help you keep your non maternity clothes longer and fit into your maternity clothes earlier. It’s called the bella band and I really think this is a cool idea. I would love to have this once I get pregnant. It helps to hold your pants up so that you don’t have to worry about them.

I know so many people who could use this item, like I said though they are all almost ready to have their kids. I do wish I could buy one of the really cool tops I found on this site for one friend and she has always dress very stylishly until she became pregnant. It was very sad to see her when she was trying to get dressed to go somewhere.

Anyway if you know someone who is pregnant you should check out Due Maternity and find them some great clothes to wear. Right now you can get free shipping on all of your purchases by using coupon code BLOG1. Free shipping is always a great deal right?
