- The Item for sale is for one (1) 8 x 10 inch print of the image "Market Day"
Every day is market day in Cholula, Mexico. The vast market complex is open 365 days a year. The market supplies most of the ingredients for traditional and popular dishes originating from the region. Some examples are “tinga”: pork or chicken stewed in chiles, “mixiotes”: spiced rabbit, lamb or chicken wrapped and steamed in a sauce, and “chiles en nogada” : seasoned ground meat combined with fruit, raisins and pine nuts stuffed in a roasted, battered and fried poblano pepper topped with a creamy walnut sauce and pomegranate seeds. No meal would be complete without blue tortillas, made from the local corn of that color.

The process I employ in the computer darkroom does not involve heavy plates, long exposure times, nor toxic chemicals. However, as with the early pioneers, the final image is a function of light, tone and composition. Relieved of the dangers associated with the original process, I can only hope to some day master a technique that "mirrors the truth". At Time Less Image we continue to seek exquisite beauty in our images, exploring all techniques, old and new.
