Frontend UI Designer

We are seeking experienced UI developer. Development skills across a range of technologies that include PHP, MySQL, HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS, AJAX/Javascript, XML/XSLT, RSS etc. The work will involve designing and implementing features and changes to our front end website and User Interface focusing on User friendliness and User Experience. Candidate must have experience working in Linux environment, source control, and bug tracking tools. The position requires an ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and the ability to think big but execute efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:

- Fix UI related problems
- Develop production-level code from design mockups
- May assist integration with back-end functionality


PHP/Python Developer

Expert Python+Turbogear programmer. Work experience with large scale batch processing in a dynamic environment.
Experience with GIS tools a big plus - PostGIS, WMS/WFS, UMN Mapserver, etc.
Experience with web frameworks - Django, Turbogears, etc.
Extensive experience administering a Linux server cloud, preferably Amazon EC2.
Design, implement, operate, and monitor the high scale, high uptime environment.
Extensive experience developing scalable solutions with Ruby, Python, or PHP.
