The kind of writer's block I get is when I can't decide on a topic. If I have a topic, I can write like crazy. But today I'm supposed to make a blog post about any topic I feel like and I just can't think of one because my mind is on Biostatistics.

So, here's the deal, help me come up with a topic. Anything you want. If any of you want to know my opinion about something, just ask. If you want to challenge me with something tough, go ahead. I like a good challenge. Creativity will be the key here.

If I pick your topic, I'll give out some link love your way and possibly some ECs if I'm feeling generous. (My loyal readers would tell you that means you'll definitely get some ECs.)

(Edit: I'll be keeping this post bookmarked in my Posting Ideas folder. So just because I don't use your topic today, doesn't mean I won't in the future.)

How frustrating blogger's block is when you have committed yourself to blogging a certain amount of posts in a certain time frame (for me, at least one a day).

Write about your life. I don't mean the things that happen/happened/may happen, but the life itself. The life you had when you took your first breath and will have when you take your last one.

That's my challenge :-)

Here's a few ideas: How to overcome writer's block; a moment in time (pick one moment in time that was pivotal in some way, changed you in some way); things you want your children to know in life; ways you want your children to be like you and ways you hope they are not like you; if I had a blog I would never blog about....(list a few topics and why you wouldn't blog about them).

That's all I can think of for now. If you need more just give me a shout out - my sleep deprived brain can usually conjure something.

So if your mind is on biostatistics write about biostatistics. It might work if you can make it interesting.

Write a post about the most distinct smell you can remember smelling. I have two, the smell of the anesthesia when I had an operation when I was 3 (I kicked the doctor in the face and they had to strap me down, I think he gave me the worst smelling stuff he could find) and the smell of burning flesh from when I got my PRK eye surgery done. It didn't hurt but not only could I smell it, I could taste it too.
