What, so far, has been your most surprising or, at least, interesting EntreCard related moment?

Mine has been passing John Chow for "Most Recommended" site (I took the screenshot and will probably post it on my blog in a day or two).

It's not that I'm excited about passing John Chow, it could have been anybody. It's that I get a rush out of proving to people that they don't have to spend their online lives with their noses jammed up the backside of A-list bloggers.

They keep telling you to do what THEY did but they don't tell you that they did it when the blogosphere was much different and there were millions less blogs.

As such, your admiration adds to the illusion of their authority. Well, keep an eye on my blog. I'm going to start sharing some secret legitimate tools designed IN-HOUSE that will give you a serious advantage.

And now, you're most surprising or interesting Entrecard moment. What is it?

The whole experience so far is great. I'm getting lots of new traffic, and my Alexa spike puts a fat grin on my face. However, the most exciting so far is watching as I creep up to the #1 most popular spot. Right now, I'm threatening to pass John Cow. Think I'll do it?

Mine was when I was side by side John Chow for Most Recommended. That went on for a few days til people started noticing and campaigning for recommendations. I took a screenshot of that because I guessed that it will never happen again, and I was right, hahaha.

I never paid attention to my traffic until about a week ago when I decided to get new readers.

I was very surprised to get in the top 10 of popular and recommended in just a few days.

Unfortunately, that and a dollar will get me a bag of chips...

Chips are now 2 dollars, but I understand.

I don't like kissing ass to John Chow. or anythign related to him.

LOL @ Toni. Yeah I read that. As for kissing ass, it's not about that. Most of what I see is people using their position relative to one of the high traffic gurus as a marker for success within the network.

What I don't get are all the rip off sites that basically use the same formula, some of which even put the sports care in the header.

Toni, nothing awesome about that post. They made it seem like you were less than worthy when you worked your tail off to be top dawg in your category. It seemed like they were saying a "real man" wouldn't lose to a "girl". Nothing at all flattering there.

^very good point. Why can't they just have said "an extremely high ranking blog loses to a medium-high ranking blog in entrecard popularity" or something....

that would have been less sexist.

@market - I hope you're right. Anyways, it sure was coincidental bringing up the word v*gina in relation to a post including John CHOW.

The fight card should read: CHOW - V*GINA

as of now there is none.hoping to have that moment.

as of now the greatest is the sudden increase of my blog traffic... and one or two bigger bloggers come by in my blog to drop their respective EntreCards.

That is just great!
