Yeah, so I'm new here and have no idea if this is a good place to ask, but I'm gonna anyhow.

I would like opinions from y'all about this here banner I crafted up tonight for my Entrecard.

Also, it seems that the support forum is a bit slow so I'm going to ask yet another typical n00b question here while I'm posting: Campaigning strikes me as a royal PITA. What's a good way to get my blog advertised on another blog everyday?

Your card looks ok to me.

You can't advertise on the same blog every day...once you have an ad in for a blog you can't advertise with that blog again until the original ad has finished.

Drop cards on as many blogs as you can or want to and use that to buy ads on many blogs.

You can buy credits instead of earning them and then buy ads through Entrecard. You can also sign up at firestormforum.com and exchange social bookmarks to get traffic and backlinks.

I'm earning enough credits to "buy" ads, but when I'm campaigning, seems the blogs/sites I find are either (1) more or less defunct, (2) way outside my price range or (3) long waiting times.

Ideally, I'd like to buy a spot on a different blog for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and so on. I've got a couple running now, but then not again until the 15th! I'd like to find some to advertise on between then and now...

Guess it boils down to me not really liking the way the campaigning is set up... There ought to be a way to search for dates on which I'd like to advertise.

the most popular blogs have the longest waiting times. It works out well if you have a lot of credits and just start placing a lot of ads, both popular and less popular. Due to the varying waiting times, you'll end up with at least one ad running somewhere everyday. The way it was before as far as pricing goes was better in my opinion, cheaper to run ads. I placed tons of ads and some days I would have 12 or more ads running, but always at least a few.

as to the second question - if you dont buy ads with credits, you need to pay with something. trades, rides to the store, something...

Another good thing to do is to establish a friendly relationship with other bloggers. One back will scratch another. For instance there are a few bloggers that know if they need something discovered on stumble all they have to do is message me and if I am online it will be done ASAP in return they give me the same deal. Getting to know people both inside and outside your niche is the best promotion for your blog.

I certainly intend on kicking it around the forum and leaving comments on blogs I discover when so moved!

Perhaps I should just drop for a week and then buy up whatever I can get my hands on? ;)

I think its fun to experiment with that. Many have opinions what would be best but I think the best way is to have fun with it.

One does not loose a fortune to try different approaches. :)

One day a blog will get you hundreds of hits, a different day - same blog - the results may be zero.
