Entrecard has partnered with OIO publisher to allow you to sell all formats of advertising and accept Entrecard Credits. The system is automated and provides robust statistics tracking to the advertiser. This guide will explain how to set it up.

Make sure you download Version 2.01 -whether you're using Wordpress, Blogger, or anything else! Only this version has EC integration.

1. upload the oiopub-direct directory to your plugins directory for wordpress
2. Edit the config.php file in the “oiopub-direct” folder. you just need to place the url path to the “oiopub-direct” directory, as explained in the config.php file. You'll see it. It's easy.
3. activate the plugin from the wordpress admin area, in the plugins menu
4. follow the on-screen instructions

1. upload the oiopub-direct directory to your server (you can change the directory name to whatever you'd like)

3. navigate to mysite.com/path/to/oiopub-direct/admin.php
4. follow the on-screen instructions (quick start guide)

Note: you need to have a hosting account (shared hosting at minimum) to use OIO. If you don't have at least a shared hosting account, you can't use OIO yet. Sorry!

1. Log in to your wordpress backend or OIO admin panel on your site. From the admin panel, select “My Modules”
2. Just under the main navigation, select “Configure: Entrecard”
3. You will see red text that says “Entrecard Setup Incomplete” -click “click here to edit settings”
4. At the top of the popup box, it will say “The Entrecard settings you need can be found here” -click the link and it will take you to your Entrecard account, where you activate the API and get the shared secret. Enter it in. Your seller ID is your user number (the number in your url when you're on the Entrecard dashboard)
5. Enter your exchange ratio. At the going rate of 6.00 per thousand credits, the exchange ratio would be “166” (credits per dollar). A really really cheap ad would go for 1 credit per dollar, and a really really expensive ad would go for 1000 credits per dollar. We recommend starting at or around 166 credits per dollar.
