How to place the widget
To place the widget on your blog, go to the “Get Code” tab. Select the widget you would like, copy the code, and paste it onto your blog. Most likely, this will involve adding a text widget to your blog in the layout setting, and pasting the code their. After the widget is placed, it will allow others to drop their card for you. It will also allow others to advertise on your widget by paying you credits.

What if I don't place the widget?
If you do not place the widget on your blog:
- You will not be listed on the Entrecard site
- You will not earn credits from dropping
- You will not be able to advertise on other blogs
- Your account will eventually be deleted from the system
The Widget Scanner
The widget scanner is our spider that looks at your site and determines if your widget is running. If you see a pink message telling you that the scanner can't find your widget, simply click the “Check my page now” link. If you had it check your blog, and it still can't find it, but your widget is on your blog, let us know on the feedback form.
