Forum Guidelines
Welcome to the Entrecard forums. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following forum guidelines.
Please be aware that we will remove without explanation any thread we perceive to convey negativity onto the community, any thread intended to “start drama”, or any thread that is opened in regards to an issue that moderation staff has deemed to be closed, resolved, or not necessary of further discussion on Entrecard. Our aim above all else, with respect to this policy, is to keep things as positive as possible. We consider negativity in the forums to be toxic to the community in general.
Failure to adhere to the forum guidelines may result in posts being removed without notice. Multiple offences may result in a permanent ban as well as the loss of Entrecard credits or deletion of your account. We will issue up to two warnings before taking action if a third offence occurs.
We have some additional guidelines for the following forums: Promotions and Events, Post Critiques, and Marketing.
- All posts must be written in English.
- Prior to raising a “How do I” question, please consult the Help section and the Entrecard e-book as your query may already be answered there.
- Review the available forums and consider where your post fits best. Posts in the wrong forum may be moved. Do not post the same thing in more than one forum as this creates extra work for the moderators.
- When starting a new thread, use a short but descriptive subject line.
- Disagreement and debate is acceptable, but personal attacks will not be tolerated.
- New members may introduce their site in the Introductions forum.
- We have some additional guidelines for the following forums: Promotions and Events, Post Critiques, and Marketing. Advertising is not permitted in the other forums.
- Discussions relating to illegal content will be removed. This includes, but is not limited to: warez, cracks, serials, and other downloads.
- Discussions relating to sites removed from the Entrecard network are not permitted.
