This page contains a list of some of the most frequently asked questions we receive at Entrecard. We'll be updating this guide with new FAQs as we receive them. Please ask in the Support forum if you have a question that is not answered here. Check the other help documentation first, though.

Entrecard allows you to drop up to 300 cards a day. At midnight your drops reset to zero. Don't worry, any credits you have earned will be retained.

Note that “midnight” applies to Boston time (EDT). View the current local time in Boston.

Please note that this does not affect ads. Each ad runs for a 24 hour period, but the start and end time vary from one site to the next. It depends on what time the first ad was approved by the site owner.

Go to the campaign page, click on the category tab and find your widget in that category. Hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the widget. The popularity score will be shown there. It is the total number of drops on your site in the past 5 days.

Here are some ways to avoid getting penalties:

• Don't drop too quickly. Take the time to read the sites you drop on.
• Wait for the drop to go through before dropping on another site.
• Click the “Drop” text, not a blank area of the yellow bar.
• If you see “No such user”, the site has been deleted - don't try to drop on them again.
• If you see “Invalid”, try logging out and logging back in again. Don't refresh the page after logging in or it may re-send the drop. Bookmark the site first then go back to it using the bookmark.

If you get a penalty, please contact us using the feedback form on your Dashboard and explain how you were dropping cards. Don't just keep on dropping.

You cannot do this yourself, but we can do it for you. Using the feedback form on your Dashboard, send a link to the site's Entrecard profile and explain what you need. We'll remove the link.

If you find a site that does not meet our Blog Quality Standards, go to the site's profile and click on “Report site for TOS violation”. We will then review the site and take action as appropriate.

You can find the site's profile if they dropped a card on you.

• In the Drops Inbox, right-click on their image and select “Copy link location” (in Firefox) or “Copy Shortcut” (in Internet Explorer).
• Open a text editor (Notepad, WordPad, Microsoft Word etc) and press CTRL+V to paste. You'll see the link is something like entrecard.com/t/oc/xxxx. The numbers on the end (the “xxxx”) gives you the user ID of the site.
• Take the user ID and put it into this link: entrecard.com/user_details/xxxx
• Now you can see the site's profile and the Report link.

Otherwise, send the URL using the feedback form on your Dashboard. Ensure you explain why you are reporting the site and why you were unable to submit a site report in the usual way.

Login to your dashboard and click on “Cancel account”.
