A great site if you want to learn about the craft of writing. Her topics range from the academic to blogging and even freelance writing.
I find the magazine layout of the blog very effective. It is very easy on the eyes and I could easily find the good stuff with just a scan from top to bottom.
Check out her take on "Why Blogging Doesn't Necessarily Improve Your Writing." I agree with her that the lack of standards in blog writing results to less than readable articles and doesn't motivate the blogger to improve her writing skills.
Miss Write is a definite must-read for any writer.
