Introducing Entrecard’s First Sellers: Happy New Year, You’re All Winners!

Entrecard has a Happy New Years gift for everyone that entered our contest for seller status:

YOU’RE ALL WINNERS!

That’s right, we decided it would be a crime to deprive our members of any of the great items that were offered for sale, so we went ahead and decided that they all have a place at the Entrecard store. Here’s what you’ll find, very soon, assuming everyone lives up to their promises:

Sam Freedom will be selling varying sizes of site, product or person reviews.
Price: between 300 and 5000 Credits.

Phillip will be selling complete blog makeovers, 1 page advanced keyword and SEO strategy, and Entrecard designs.
Price: 2000 Credits for the blog makeover, 499 credits for the strategy guide, and 150 credits for Entrecard design.

James will be selling a DVD of his chromatic harmonica repertoire, tips and tricks.
Price: 650 Credits.

Joe Tech will be selling his Status Snoop tool, which tells you when coveted ad spots will become available.
Price: 250 Credits.

Sean The Blogger will be selling Text Links on his blog, for a duration of one month.
Price: 300 Credits.

Mark Fulton will sell a 1 hour professional blog consultation via instant messenge.
Price: 500 Credits.

ATV Style will sell an awesome package consisting of 1 hour of extra strength SEO review on one domain, 1 comprehensive written review of that site posted on ATVStyle.com, and a permanent attachment of 10 eBay listings to the end of the written review.
Price: 750 Credits.

LaTease Rikard will sell Original Photography and 1 month of advertising for your 125×125.
Price: 50 Credits per package of 20 photos, 100 Credits for the one month ad spot.

Tyler Mulligan will sell Card Redesigns, Quality reviews, Ad space, and possible T-Shirts.
Price: 400 Credits per Card Redesign, 500 Credits per Quality Review, and Ad Space for 2500 Credits (two weeks) and 4000 Credits (one month). T-Shirts price yet to be determined.

QforQuack will sell a cheesy Shakespearian Sonnet by her about your website, a three minute song about your blog (using her voice and edited in garageband), a custom skin for your gadget from IStyles, a $10 iTunes Email Gift Certificate, and a Custom iPod Video / Nano theme.
Price: 50 Credits for the sonnet, 100 Credits for the song, 1,000 credits for the Skin from iStyles, 1,250 Credits for the $10 iTunes gift certificate, and 5,000 Credits for the iPod Video / Nano theme.

Fromtheold will sell 125 design, Drupal design, and possibly even some random domains.
Price: 200 Credits for 125 design, 2000 Credits for Drupal design, ??Credits for the domains.

LoboLinks is selling submission to their paid web directory for quality sites. (Note, refunds, if necessary, will have to be issued through the dashboard for now.)
Price: 300 Credits.

Mike is selling Entrecard designs.
Price: 200 credits.

Sphrym will sell Entrecard Design and Blog Reviews.
Price: 250 Credits for Entrecard Design and 500 Credits for a blog review.

And last but not least, the Wordpress Rockstar himself, Adii, will be selling his Exclusive Wordpress Themes, which normally retail for $100, for 10,000 Credits.

There you have it! A tremendous offering for Entrecard Members that give you a plethora of ways to spend your Credits. Expect to see these items appear in the store over the next week or so, as these awesome Entrecard members begin using the Store and listing their items.

This is a Live Run

This is the first dry run of the store to test the waters, work out the kinks, and introduce people to the idea. As it grows, we’re going to implement seller feedback system similar to eBay, to create the safest buying experience possible. Our vision is to make the Entrecard Store a vast marketplace for bloggers, where you can buy and sell all sorts of blogging related items and services. And from the looks of our first sellers and their offerings, we’re well on our way!

The other function of the store is to enhance the spending power of the Credit. Right now, all you can spend your credits on is advertising, and ad spots may have long wait times, or be filled up. But if you can use your credits to buy blog reviews, text links, SEO consultations, Wordpress themes and more, the whole Entrecard system becomes much more than a traffic solution.

The Benefits of Entrecard Traffic

While we’re pleased with the clicks we’re sending to member’s sites, a few people have complained about the quality of the traffic. While we at Entrecard maintain that any traffic is better than no traffic, and some percentage of Entrecard visitors will no doubt become regulars to your blogs, we want to squash this argument once and for all.

So now, everyone coming to your site “just to drop a card” earns you a credit that you can put towards a blog review, Wordpress theme, SEO Consultation, text links, and more. How can you argue with that? That’s right… you can’t. Entrecard traffic is now officially traffic that carries a benefit greater than just a potential reader or a potential visitor who will click on an ad.

If you are one of the above mentioned sellers who have been selected to set up shop, we’re going to activate your accounts as sellers within 48 hours. We’ll send you a confirmation email. We ask that you list your items in a timely fashion.
