Happy Birthday to Entrecard (today we are 3 months old)

That went by fast, didn’t it?
Three months ago on this very day, Phirate had worked through the night and into the morning to make sure Entrecard was running smoothly for the Blog World Expo (as he had done for the last week straight).
Three months ago, on this very day, the Blogosphere first learned about Entrecard at the Blog World Expo in Las Vegas. It was my first trip to Vegas and my first time meeting Shoemoney and John Chow in person (they’ve been my personal source of inspiration to pursue business in the blogosphere).
Three months ago today, we handed out hundreds of Entrecard T-Shirts for free, to people who hopefully logged onto the site by now!
Three months ago today, our website received 31 visits. Yesterday, it received nearly seven thousand.
Three months ago today I was incredibly nervous after having put everything on the line for Entrecard. All of my time, money, and mental energy. I dropped out of school to pursue it.
A lot can happen in three months. I can’t even imagine what is to come in the next three…Suffice it to say I am predicting that a little card dropping will be in order.
Birthday Bash!
Because 3 months is three years in “internet years” (just like dog years) we’re going to throw a little celebration. The first 6 people to blog about why Entrecard will be around for the next three years wins a thousand credits!

Congrats guys. The system works and I am damn happy to be here. Its increased the visits to my site, its improved my Alexa rank and I have made many new and helpful friends with the community thats been created.
I just wonder how long it will be before the copycats start popping up.

Ah memories. Back when we only had one kind of category page. Back when there were no forums, no messagebox, and no drop limits. Back when I used to do a little dance when we hit milestones like 20 users. Back when the single biggest feature request was multiblog..
oh wait. oops. Guess I need a few more weeks of all nighters..

If you want to make it to 6 mos. fix your signup so that it will actually accept a picture of the same size and shape your asking. 10 tries, creating new pictures in both png and jpg format still didn’t work.
Doubt you even know how much your missing.
